The 2000's

Dickey Leaves, Jimmy Herring Joins
June 16, 2000 - Gregg, Jaimoe and Butch ask Dickey to take the summer off, citing creative differences. The summer tour proceeds with Jimmy Herring subbing for Dickey. The band is composed of:
- Gregg Allman, lead vocals and Hammond B3 organ
- Butch Trucks, drums and percussion
- Jaimoe, drums
- Marc Quinones, percussion
- Oteil Burbridge, bass
- Derek Trucks, lead and slide guitar
- Jimmy Herring, lead guitar

Allen Woody
August 26, 2000 - Allen Woody dies in his sleep in NYC.

Peakin' At The Beacon
"Peakin' At The Beacon" is released.

Warren as a Guest
Warren Haynes joins the ABB for the Beacon run as a "special guest artist".

The Longest Lineup
June 15, 2001 - The summer tour kicks off with Warren Haynes once again an official member of the Allman Brothers Band. The band is composed of:
- Gregg Allman, lead vocals and Hammond B3 organ
- Butch Trucks, drums and percussion
- Jaimoe, drums
- Marc Quinones, percussion
- Oteil Burbridge, bass
- Derek Trucks, lead and slide guitar
- Warren Haynes, lead and slide guitar
This lineup will turn out to last the longest of any ABB lineup, all the way to the final show in October 2014

The Allman Brothers Band - Live at the Beacon Theatre DVD
"The Allman Brothers Band - Live at the Beacon Theatre" DVD released.

One Way Out
"One Way Out" is released on Sanctuary Records. Based on the same show as the Live at the Beacon DVD, plus Trouble No More, Wasted Words, Good Morning Little School Girl, and Every Hungry Woman.

Stand Back: The Anthology
