You already know that The Allman Brothers Band is returning to the Beacon Theatre in New York City for 10 shows in March, specifically March 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20 and 21.
Well, hang on to your seats sisters and brothers, because, ta dah!, you’re the first to know that by overwhelming demand (as in these shows are HOT!!) five (5) additional shows have been added to the ABBeacon run!! Yessss! The new dates are March 23, 24, 26, 27, and 28th.
Even better (and the following information is NOT to be shared, forwarded, distributed, posted, transmitted, or otherwise propagated unless the person responsible wants to lose any pre-sale tickets they personally buy), the Allman Brothers Band is once again offering the Peach Corps a pre-sale of tickets.
Here’s the scoop:
You MUST have been registered in the Peach Corps by 12/31/2008 to even think about participating in the ABB’s 2009 Beacon pre-sale. Sales to anyone joining after that date will be axed.
The email address used to purchase ABB Beacon pre-sale tickets MUST match the email address in your Peach Corps account at allmanbrothersband.com
There is a 4 ticket per show, 3 show limit per person.
There are NO exceptions to these rules.
This pre-sale is intended exclusively for members of the Peach Corps in good standing. The Allman Brothers Band reserves the right to cancel any ticket sale, at any time, for any reason. This means, scalpers, don’t waste your time. TicketMaster will not distribute any pre-sale tickets until the Allman Brothers Band management and yours truly approve the sales … and we’re going to go through the list of pre-sale ticket sales one by one to sniff out, and cancel, any we’re suspicious of.
The pre-sale begins Monday evening February 2, at 8:00 PM Eastern time and technically runs through the evening of Thursday, February 5 @ 10:00 PM. We say “technically” because there’s a fair chance (to say the least!) that pre-sale tickets will be snapped up very quickly.
Here’s a bonus for Peach Corps members who are also AMEX cardholders: From Monday, February 2, at 8:00 PM Eastern time – Tuesday, February 3, at 8:00 AM Eastern time Peach Corps members who are also AMEX cardholders may purchase tickets at a $5 discount. This discount applies to all price levels of tickets available and is ONLY VALID during this 12 HOUR window of opportunity.

The sale of these additional ABB Beacon shows to the general public begins at 10:00 AM Eastern time Friday, February 6.
