Veep Debate

No winner from my perspective. Neither candidate answered the question put immediately to them - both constantly demanding to return to questions asked, like 3 rounds before.
Science prevails: proof that flies are attracted to $hit!

I thought Kamala was great. Pence was slightly less rude than Trump, but still interrupted Susan and Kamala several times and it wasn't a good look. Other than failing to answer the SCOTUS question, Kamala was more on point than Pence, who seemed to be answering his own questions. No new information, as expected, but at least it was watchable.
I look forward to the fly's MSNBC Show. He's already got his own Twitter account.

Someone should've captured that fly and encased in resin - like one of those "fly in ice" gags that you use to see i the backs of comic books - and given it to the Smithsonian!

I think both sides made what point they wanted to make. I thought they both did a decent job. I had to chuckle when Pence said that Harris was not entitled to her own set of facts when he was spreading a falsehood at the time.
The fly and the pink eye were both a bit of distractions, and pink eye is sometimes an indicator of Covid. I suspect we will see a positive test from him in the next few days.
Harris certainly showed herself as being up for the job, which was the biggest takeaway. I don't think this debate is going to move the needle, so any day that Trump doesn't make up ground is a good day for Biden, especially with voting underway.

Over-used line, I believe it's a Daniel Patrick Moynihan quote? I think that line is appropriated to sweeten a subsequent lie more than deliver a fact.
