I think it's funny to see people criticizing AOC's perceived lack of intelligence when our POTUS just gave a speech claiming that in the Revolutionary War, colonial forces stormed the AIRPORTS.

I stand by my thoughts, AOC is in way above her head, an emotional child who reacts before thinking.

One term and ...poof

Are you talking about Trump or AOC? I'm confused.....

"AOC"..."Her"

Hope that helps with your "confusion"

Thanks....I was just a bit dumbfounded that you point these things out about a late 20's first term House member but yet seem to not be all that bothered about the very same traits in a 70+ year old President....I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to understand how Trump supporters get all heated up and criticize ignorance, childish an impulsive behavior, etc. in AOC but yet barely register a raise in their blood pressure when Trump displays such traits on a daily basis..

Is it the Right wing media manipulation that began once they decided to make her their new Hilary Clinton or is it genuine dislike for a relatively powerless youngster?...Inquiring minds want to know...I think there's a Master's thesis just waiting to be written about the levels of denial in the Trump phenomenon.

Since you've quoted my statement let me just repeat for the 20th time that my silence about all things Trump is in no way is a sign of support. I voted for Gary Johnson. But it fits the Liberal argument that a vote for anybody other than Mrs. Clinton, was a Vote for Trump. I am still glad however that Hillary is not President and will continue to find fault with Democratic "Leadership" and their Political agenda.

AOC is at the top of my very long list

Actually the libertarian vote is by and large an alternative conservative vote that takes votes from Trump.

I don't know about other voters, but I remember all the Democrat web sights that encouraged people to vote Trump in the primaries (remember all those Dems who "changed registration" to GOP before some of the primaries?).

https://www.quora.com/Why-dont-Democrats-register-as-Republicans-and-vote-for-Trump-in-the-primary-so-Clinton-can-win-the-presidency-in-the-general-election

https://www.cnbc.com/2016/03/22/trumps-big-advantage-open-primaries.html

Basically, Dems came in and voted for Trump in the early primaries thinking that Trump had no chance to win the general election. They got a big surprise because of all the ABC voters that showed up at the general election.

I've gone over this before with several websites urging Dems to do just that quoted in the post. For some reason or the other, those websites don't seem to exist anymore.

My big question is this: Why are the Democrats raising so much hell about the candidate THEY HELPED ELECT?

Why aren't Republicans raising hell too? What's the matter with everyone?

Don't know about GOP, but I do things by contacting the person responsible, or at least a representative.
You do know that you at least get a response to e-mail sent to
https://www.whitehouse.gov/get-involved/write-or-call/
the site even has phone numbers and the address for the White house.

You're not really going to change things by venting and calling names in a music website.

Actually the cumulative effect of social media is making profound changes.

I look at social media, which lately hasn't been very social, the same way I look at polls.

Besides, how do you know that some of it isn't rabble rousing by the Russians?

Who is in the White House now?

And who is going to remain there because of the Dems absolute refusal to see that the future is not so extremely far to the left?

Good point. I really do not know. It does create social waves and causes change in real time however, whatever it is.

if a Walmart worker spoke to customers the way Trump has spoken about various people, they’d be fired. His hostility and unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any business with public customers because of the enormous risk it creates to their bottom line. i know a pizzeria owner, who is a die hard Trump supporter, who fired some of his workers for having a bad attitude in front of customers and for not being polite. He said those jackasses were going to hurt his business. If it’s unacceptable for a Walmart worker, or if you don’t want it at your own business, then it’s obviously unacceptable for the President of the United States. Choosing such a character to lead the country makes it seem like you have no respect for it, and might even be subconsciously trying to hurt it, the same way some teenagers cut themselves.

it’s going to be very hard for Republicans in the future once the dust settles. it will be difficult to explain, and will require a lot of work to repair their damaged reputation of a lack of judgment and making an emotional knee jerk reaction. somehow they will have to convince tens of millions of young voters to forgive and forget their mistakes while holding their head low. thats not a position I’d want to be in if I was Republican.

Your Walmart & pizzeria are two good examples of the double standard and hypocrisy that exists with the demagogue occupying space in the White House. American businesses won't operate this way, but a president emboldened and enabled by sycophants who care more for their positions in Congress than in character & common decency have sold out to the fears of tweets laced with hate & lies.
