Trump Family Pledges 1.5 billion dollars towards wall funding
SOURCE: AP NEWS
President Trump today unveiled his new push today to help combat illegal immigration- A pledge to fund a full 1.5 billion, yes billion, dollars for wall construction. "Mexico won't pay" Trump began, "and I'm planning to shut down the border. No more games. " "I build the best hotels, walls are easy. They're long and in most cases, straight" The White House confirmed Trump's pledge. "The President feels blessed to be able to personally share in the sacrifice needed to once and for all fix our broken immigration system" Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the Press Corps today. "His money is the People's Money." President Trump routinely bills the State Dept. for various rents and services extended to the Executive Branch by Trump Resorts. "I'm planning something big" Trump stated. "Good materials. Good Steel. We love our steel, don't we? US Steel. Nucor. General Motors. " Asked again about whether Mexico would fund the wall, Trump harshly added, "This will be a beautiful addition to the southern border. A big, beautiful wall with the best technology and cameras" Trump again emphasized the technology would be great and Mexico would be foolish to not partner with the US on this global initiative. "The wall is going to need to be maintained. Mexico can help with this. Absolutely"

Not so sure Mexico will help maintain it, should it ever get done. Considering many thousands of people from central America will pass through Mexico and then be stuck there because of a wall, not wanting that, I'd imagine the Mexican government will be handing out shovels.
I’m anxious to see what the illegal immigration numbers will be under Trump compared to that of Obama. If Trump supporters would take their blinders off for a second, they’d understand that Obama isn’t exactly popular among Latinos due to his strict immigration policies. He deported tons of them, and a large majority never understood why he was so aggressive with it.
Combine that with the fact that Trump is ignoring visa overstays and spending all his time and energy into a symbol of himself, I bet Obama has better numbers.
Dang... he beat me to it... I was going to kick down $1.5 myself... ya snooze ya lose... 😛
Pretty weak April Fools Joke. Like anybody would really believe that?

Hey, some people still think that Mexico is going to pay for his wall...
I thought it was pretty good. Cheers Goob!

If he really has as much money as he makes it seem, why not put your money where your mouth is!

Deporter in Chief. I remember. Obama himself wasn't proud of those numbers. Sometimes the system does what it does without the executive imposing upon it.

Remember, we are talking about the guy who illegally paid his sons Cub Scout registration fee of $7 with money from his "charitable foundation."
One has to wonder if there is truth in anything Trump says. He is always pulling good pranks.
It makes no difference if it is true or not? wtf? Of course it is not true. Don't be ridiculous.
I guess having to write that check (all those zeros) made the president a bit forgetful... 😛

If Trump were ever to actually engage in some sort of philanthropic endeavor, the best charitable action Trump and his crime family could do would be to pay the contractors and construction workers he and his cohorts have stiffed over the past decades for the various services they've provided for dear leader's various real estate boondoggles.

Trump's philanthropic endeavors are aimed at...well... who else...Trump & his family. It should surprise no one that the Donald J. Trump Foundation was forced to dissolve a while back due to illegalities. Yes, he's a giving kind of person, and there are many (including members of this site) who have no problem with his actions. Why anyone would give him a dime is beyond belief.
"The Donald J. Trump Foundation, once billed as the charitable arm of the president’s financial empire, agreed to dissolve on Tuesday and give away all its remaining assets under court supervision as part of an ongoing investigation and lawsuit by the New York attorney general.
The foundation was accused by the attorney general, Barbara Underwood, of “functioning as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump’s business and political interests,” and of engaging in “a shocking pattern of illegality” that included unlawfully coordinating with Mr. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
In addition to shuttering the charity, her office has pursued a lawsuit that could bar President Trump and his three oldest children from the boards of other New York charities, as well as force the payment of millions in restitution and penalties."
