Rand Paul has brought up the point that Syria did not attack us, therefore for us to go over there and strike them, requires Congress's authorization. We KNEW in the 1980's that Assad used chemical weapons and killed more than 20,000 of his own people, but we did nothing then.
P.S. We didn't really SHOW them, Syria launched more attacks after our strikes. We did not take out their command and control faciliites, and the word on the street is THEY had advance notice we were coming.

Iran was a little less nice about how they feel regarding the attack.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif condemned on Friday the U.S. airstrike against a Syrian airbase, saying it is the “time to stop hype and cover-ups”.
“Not even two decades after 9/11, U.S. military fighting on same side as al-Qaida and ISIS in Yemen and Syria. Time to stop hype and cover-ups,” he tweeted. Zarif said in a separate post on Twitter, “U.S. aids Saddam’s use of CW against Iran in 80’s; then resorts to military force over bogus CW allegations: 1st in 2003 and now in Syria.”

of Trump's supporters are not happy with this move, including myself. I would agree that no human

I agree. As the missiles did not destroy the airfield what was really accomplished? There were some jets destroyed, but Russia will be glad to replace them. I agree that this is a false flag and believe that this was just another distraction created by Trump.
