What it has to do with "so-called Russian meddling" is the same group of people changing their stories about each of these a dozen different times as more info becomes public. You know, like how Cohen was great until he was terrible. Trump did not dictate Jr.'s false adoption meeting statement until he did. Trump had no knowledge of thousands of dollars going to porn stars until he did, then he was doing out of love and protection for his wife and son. There are way too many to list at this point.
Also, it is odd that a Trump supporter has a problem with anyone being "well known for lying". What if Lanny Davis lies to the press - would that be okay? Would he become great for sticking it to the "enemy", or would he still be a "shyster"?

Sounds like how Trump said he did not know about porn star payments, and then Rudy went on Hannity and said Trump knew about them and repaid them. Then Cohen puts out a tape confirming that Trump discussed the arrangement of porn star payments, and Trump goes on Fox and says he did not know about the payments until much later.
The problem is that Trump and Rudy (and the minority of Americans that still support Trump) want to claim that Cohen and his people have credibility issues for the same behavior in which they are indulging.
I am not arguing that Cohen and Davis should be trusted. I would say anyone who worked as Trump's attorney for so long probably cannot remember how to tell the truth. I would also be skeptical of Davis as a top-dollar political attorney having a firm grip on what is objectively true.
But really... How can the Trump supporters say that clients and their lawyers not having their stories straight on TV is proof that one person is lying and the other should be trusted to shut down an investigation into his own shady practices?
That is what I don't get. Everything bad that anyone else does should be rooted out and questioned and/or punished, but the same actions are okay for Trump and his crew because "everybody does it". I thought he was the "law and order" candidate.
