Many are confused as to how it even works, and that includes people in this country. So here is a really good primer to get people up to speed.

Democrats have a chance to take control of the US Senate from Republicans, with 34 out of 100 seats up for election and about a third of those looking competitive. Democrats also will try to defend their majority in the House of Representatives, where all 435 seats come up for re-election every two years.

States will host legislative elections and 11 of them will hold elections for governor.

Who can vote?

There are more than 224 million people of voting age in the US.

13-16 July 2020
Democratic national convention, in Milwaukee, Wisconin

24-27 August 2020
Republican national convention, in Charlotte, North Carolina

Here are the Democratic Candidates and their positions on the issues.

Comments: I like Yang for the Universal Basic Income, which is his main issue, I also think Elizabeth Warren has some good ideas. I don't think many of the faces we saw last time at the Republican debates want to to go up against Trump again.

I'm not sure who will win the Democratic primary, but I do know that the only thing that matters is whether whoever does is more appealing than Trump in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Michigan. If you live in any other state, your vote really doesn't matter.
