Both teams will score points. If the Pat's, with their good red zone defense, can limit the Falcons to field goals, I like their chances. If the Falcons weak red zone defense holds true, the Pat's will score TD"s. I like the Pat's 34-23.
GO PAT'S

That halftime show may have been the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. Half hour of hell.

while i'm disappointed in the outcome, it was the best Superbowl I've seen in many years. And Brady has to be the best QB of this generation. Insane what he did tonight.

If you are a born and bred Patriots fan, then congrats. It must feel good to have the best of the best. As a Philadelphia sports fan, I wouldn't know, lol.

I'm not really a Pat's fan but i have always considered Brady one of the greats. I now may have to consider him as the greatest. He looked like a total master of the game in the 2nd half. That drive in OT was a thing of beauty...

The game didn't go as I thought it would. The Falcons were the better team for two and a half quarters. Then the Pat's took over on both sides of ball to win #5. That Brady guy is pretty good, huh.

BroBoynton, "trust the process!" bro 😮 Smile -- the Sixiz are coming back, they still have Simmons on the shelf...good to see the Sixiz playing well -- w/no AB, long-term picture dims for Celts -- he's too important a player

but, merely "this" generation bro????? 😮 ( 😛 )

....Manning, Marino Montana -- the current day's A.Rogers, T.Romo -- the trailblazers like Otto Graham, Sid Luckman, Slingin' Sammy Baugh -- & on to Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, Terry Bradshaw, Steve Grogan .......

Brady has done what those greats have done, many times over -- &, like David Ortiz last year, no one ever played the game at 39 at championship top-flight form -- as great as he was, George Blanda doesn't come close (TB doesn't kick FGs tho 😮 😮 )

Hope you enjoyed the postgame, Mr. Goodell.... Cool

As a Saints fan, I watched Nawlins dominate Joe Montana for 58 minutes quite a few times only to see him do this very same thing, time after time. But now?....Agreed, Brady is among the best I have ever seen.

Imagine that, a game where we actually talk about the action on the field vs the dumbass commercials and/or halftime gig.

Even though it pains me to say this, but here we go.... 😛

Is Brady the greatest? Not sure I could say that about anyone, but definitely
one the greatest hands down. Probably the most accomplished no doubt.
I don't think you can compare era's, that's just my opinion. The game has changed
over the years. That's up for and endless debate.

Its a team sport and I think what Belichick has done as far as player personnel,
coaching, discipline, having a system in place is just about as important(and more impressive to me) to the NE franchise as what Brady is. Both probably equal hand and hand
in the success they have obtained .
The roster that has been built over this run should also be saluted. A lot of important
pieces. You don't win games by yourself.

And oh yeah, Brady,Bellichick, Kraft and the whole NE franchise should be
indebted to Mo lewis for life!!! 😛

Not to take anything away from the Patriots or Brady, but this was also one of the most epic collapses in Super Bowl history.

Falcons had 1st and 10 on the NE 22 with 4 minutes left, up by 8. Run the ball three times, make the Patriots burn their timeouts, kick a field goal, game over.

Atlanta had 18 yards rushing in the 2nd half on a 25 point lead. 18.

C'mon, man.

I agree 100%. Brady was phenomenal, no doubt about it. But the reason for the outcome is more about the collapse of the Falcons, rather than how great Brady is. As Bhawk mentioned, Basic coaching would have won the game for the Falcons. .

I doubt brady would be "great" without great talent all around him. if he played for [the jets] I doubt we would be discussing him.

Well, if a chicken had lips, it could whistle. If Favre had stayed in Atlanta, or if Baltimore never traded Elway and he played baseball, or if Steve Young stayed on the Bucs, etc...different outcomes for sure.

Football is all about the situation, and the cast, which is why bad franchises stay bad. Belicheck didn't light the world on fire in Cleveland, and the Browns were a bit of a mess before they moved to Baltimore.

But I'd say 5 Super Bowls wins and 7 appearances is pretty damned good and hard to thumb your nose at. It's nearly impossible to stay on top in the NFL, especially with free agency, but Brady has done it so many different casts. People forget what an underdog the 2001 Pats were, and they didn't even make the playoffs the following year. If Brady was with the Jets, yes, he wouldn't be as successful because the Jets are run by knuckleheads.

Regarding hard to stay on top, I totally agree. I live really close to Marv Levy (former coach of the Bills). I run into him every now and again. Four straight Super Bowls? Pretty impressive even if they didn't win one.
