since i've been home all week
since i've been home all week with Shingles
it has been very interesting watching the confirmation hearings.
some seem......good
some seem.....ok
some seem....bad
i'll still keep open mind about what is going to happen.....and when i say that, like all americans i reserve the right to praise and criticize. its just an opinion and not an attack.
watching trump lay wreath at tomb of unknown soldier was.....touching.
despite how the election played out and things that were said, i really really really hope this goes well. i have seen some things that give me hope and some things that give me pause.
i hope those opposed to trump give him a chance
i hope those who support trump give those who oppose him the ability to express themselves
its a new world baby!
Peaceful protest is a right Americans have. What the J20 Protestors want to do, shutting down the 3 train lines that go thru Washington, DC and then attacking different places of power in DC is not a Constitutional right. The Occupy wall Street protestors made it clear they wanted to dismantle the govt. and then put in some other group. The Black Lives Matter protesters called for assassinating the police during their march thru NYC. There is a difference between anarchy and freedom.
I love it, there is a message to the Alt-Right, an Asian singing the National Anthem. +1 Trump
Gina, i respect your opinion but disagree. Both sides through the years have protested in all sorts of ways and there is no way to control how people express themselves.
Violence is never the answer though, i can agree with that, but it's a thing we must accept will happen.
and now Sam Moore....America The Beautiful another +1
Yes violence and death will happen. What is more disturbing is that protest marches in opposition to Trump's coming into power are scheduled in all these cities:
Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Charlotte, NC, Denver, Detroit, El Paso, Fort Worth, Jacksonville, Oakland, CA, OKC, Omaha, Philly, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tulsa.
He has not even assumed office, and people want to protest and wage threats. Why not wait till after he is on office and then complain about specific policies they don't like? This is something else that is going on in this country, and it isn't good.
i understand
we all should not take it personally though.
