However, the documentary clip was taken out of context. As Hogg has said in multiple interviews, and has been corroborated by multiple witnesses, Hogg was sitting in class when the shooting began:

So, was the video shown in the article shot during the event?
either CBS edited the interview or he didn't put forth before he said it that he was at the school.
Hearing him say it like that, it's no brainer people thought he was saying he wasn't at the school.
