Any right-wingers going to defend this crap? Are you satisfied with hundreds of morons "standing up to socialism" by being racist in public?

Also, if it's not racist, and only about policy, why has this not been directed at Bernie Sanders at this level since 2016?

The excuse that people are just sick of being called racist for no reason really has some holes in it at this point. To be a Trump supporter, you don't have to be a racist yourself, but you aren't really bothered by racism. At least some of them "came out" publicly at the North Carolina rally, and they won't have to be "closeted" anymore.

He says he's the least racist person, and we should take him at his word because that's who honest Don is. He acted like a carnival barker at his rally last night baiting the audience. Today he tried to "somewhat" distance himself...yeah...right Donald.

On the content of her character, absoulutely . I dont think this has nothing to do with skin color, but its right for the Pres to ask that it be toned down.

What part of their character was so bad that a US born citizen should be deported? Maybe if they grabbed a woman by the pu**y or if they walked into a locker room full of naked underaged beauty contest girls I could see it. Or maybe if they had sex with a porn star and illegally paid hush money to cover it up. Or maybe if they used their personal charity as an illegal slush fund I could see it. But they didn't do any of these things. So please do tell us what character content do they have that a US born citizen deserves to be sent back to where they came? And what exactly should they tone down? Has Trump toned ANYTHING down ever?

I really don't think character of much concern to the right-wingers. They are proud to rally behind a failed casino operator who wanted to see his name in the gossip pages of New York tabloids so badly that he would call in claiming to be "John Barron" to brag about his marriage infidelity. Also, he has clearly been a racist for a long time. Also, everything else about him shows nothing but a complete lack of any kind of positive character trait.

They entire argument from the right in 2016 was that character did not matter, they wanted someone who would finally refuse to tone it down.

Funny how Trump is the exception to needing to be capable of human decency. He gets praised for it, but the black lady needs to tone it down... that is racism... duh.

By this "logic" Trump should have left the country 8 years ago when he was constantly belligerently whining about the President with personal attacks. You can't tell citizens who are actively participating in civic government in order to address issues they have to "leave", then tell asylum-seekers from Syria to stay there and fix their own country. And if you assume women of color aren't from HERE, you're ignorant at best, unless of course there is a history of racist remarks...

It is almost like the Trump rallies are a kind of "Racist Liberation Movement". These losers have had to spend most of their lives hiding the fact that they are members of the most ignorant segment of society. Now they can make pilgrimages to congregations of thousands of fools who, at the very least, show indifference to their hatred and stupidity. These rallies are like racist "Pride Parades".

Imagine how pathetic your life has to be if racism is how you manage to feel a shred of self-worth.

Imagine the kind of scumbag who would promote and celebrate this most shameful of human behavior and attempt to use it to further his own political ambition.

In the past, far too many people have been called racists for disapproving of Obama. It was unfair and I understand some people's frustration with being called racist when they aren't.

But I don't see how anyone can justify this. American citizens who were born here being told to go back to where they came from. For those that say it wasn't the color of their skin but rather their socialist policies, then why didn't Trump tell Bernie Sanders to go back to where he can from? The answer is obvious, and if you are defending him and saying it was not racist, then I'll have to assume you would still defend Trump and say he wasn't racist if he gave the State of the Union address while wearing a white sheet and pointy hat.

If you are ok with the president being a racist for whatever reason, fine. But trying to defend him just makes you look stupid. Own up to it.

Where they gonna send her back to? Mattel?

I would send her back where her family was from for a short period of time. Let her learn why her family became
refugees and came to the US, and why the American right to free speech is so important. Let her sound off at the conditions there and blame those in power. She would be return quickly with a new respect for the country.

Also, all involved need to learn there are consequences for speaking radically.

As noted, the post you quoted was referencing Melania Trump... I assume you are talking about Ilhan Omar.

First of all, she was alive when her family fled Somalia, so I think it is highly likely that she knows exactly why they needed to leave. Secondly, it is, at the very least, quite condescending (maybe racist) to imply that she somehow wouldn't, couldn't, or doesn't understand the circumstances of her family's departure from their homeland. Lastly, I have never heard Ms. Omar suggest that she is unhappy with the freedoms that America affords people. She, as an elected official, has policy suggestions. If she can't win people over to her side of the debate, her suggestions will never become policy.

Did you suggest the same for any immigrant who becomes an American citizen and then becomes involved in politics, or just the ones from Africa? Henry Kissinger? Arnold Schwarzenegger? Madeleine Albright?

If you believe "the American right to free speech is so important", why does a member of congress using said right piss anyone off?

Also, what are the consequences of "speaking radically" in a country with freedom of speech? Deportation? Or just some racist punk who happens to be president being pissed and and complaining to crowds of other racists about you?

Yes, i was posting about Ilhan Omar. You noted that your post was about Melania Trump after my post was made. Matter of fact almost exactly 3 hours after my post.
1) So it's racist to think that a child of 4 years old would know why her family was leaving their home to live in a refugee camp? Did you know what was going on when you were 4 years old?
2) Your reading comprehension must be one of your lowest priorities. Read again about why I think she needs to understand why our free speech is so important.
3) Again, reading comprehensively. Let her try our freedom of speech in Somalia and see where it gets her.
4) Man, you really need to learn to read through a post before responding (kneejerk response possibly). Did you read the part "Also, ALL INVOLVED need to learn there are consequences for speaking radically." Think on that for a moment. Did I point out any one person, or did I point out ALL INVOLVED in the exchange?
5) Are you a racist since you just don't seem to like people of Scottish heritage.

You also need to get some facts about the people you post about. Check their biographies, you know, like, date of birth, when they left Somalia, how long they were in a refugee camp, when they migrated to the US, when they applied for citizenship, things like that.

They are both behaving the same but you only have the balls to go after the woman, while remaining silent like a bitch when the stronger male does it. Coward.

Mad about how you got schooled a little while ago, or is it that you still don't have an inkling about what I posted since you don't have very good reading comprehension?

So you admit that she is a race baiting, knee jerk, radical content posting dweeb?

I find it interesting that constituents of these four are so easily swayed by ideologies with little basis in existing American culture and values. Somalia? Seriously? Raise your hand if you, with your educational background, could vote for someone espousing thoughts Germaine to their country of origin. This has ZERO to do with their being women and everything to do with the ignorant people who voted for them.

You are replying to the wrong person. I assume you are talking to me since you wrote "You noted that your post was about Melania Trump" Somewhere around here I said I DID NOT think the President's tweets were racist. Stupid and sociopathic, yes, racist no. So maybe back off on the reading comprehension and knee jerk stuff? Looks like you needed the spectacles and jumped the gun, to me.

Also, I have a lot of Scottish, MacGillivray, dead at Culloden fighting British imperial slime like Trump. My folks were in Jamestown 1621, Stouts, direct descendant of a member of Washington's cabinet, Oregon Trail, both sides of Civil War, on and on, proud American.

Or, are you surprised to find that there are other views, or something?

Whatever assumptions you are making about Somalia, realize that her family left Somalia to escape war. Do you think German Jews agreed with the ideologies of German Nazis? Or Polish Jews with Stalin and the Soviets? Or victims in Rwanda and their warring governments? Or Italians and Mussolini? By your logic, you lump everyone within the same borders together when often these people are victims of their own government's ideologies. And you're only addressing one of the four women of color he called out.

This has everything to do with ignorant people who are prejudiced against people they haven't bothered to learn anything about beyond what they think they see at face value. And there's a word for it. And these ignorant people voted for Trump.

I still can't wrap my head around this way of thinking. Last time I read the constitution I don't remember anything about their being different classes of US citizens. Other than the ability of running for president, every citizen has the same rights. She is just as much a US citizen as you. She is just as American as you. Why don't you go back to where your family came from? Seriously, leave! America is a great melting pot. If you can't accept that, then America isn't for you. Unless you are native American or brought over as a slave, you are a decendent of immigrants. The Constitution gives no more rights to be here if your family came over 200 years ago or 20 years ago. Don't like it, then go somewhere else. America is for Americans...regardless of where that American's family originally came from. If you can't accept that, then there is a word for people like that...and you can probably figure out that word.

This is disgustingly patronizing. I'm sure Omar recalls her family's flight from Somalia as a child, and to several other countries before landing in Virginia and then Minnesota. No doubt, she would be happy to teach you about it and explain that Trump's Administration attempts to see to it that refugees such as her are not welcome today. It is that respect, which you are ignorant of, that causes her to fight for her country

I doubt Trump would act this way and show bigotry if those immigrants were coming from Scandinavian countries. He even said that he prefers those from Norway over those from $hithole countries. Those are bragging words from Big Donald.

And we've all seen him him on the world stage basically drinking a white Russian.

I'd be glad to sit down and talk with her, as long as she is willing to discuss rather than rant. Also PorkChob, do you remember what was going on around you at 4 years of age. I doubt anyone really remembers anything going on when they are at that age, they just remember second hand knowledge.

Which country is she fighting for? US or Somalia? It's fine if she supports efforts to end the fighting, famine, and desecration of the Somali people.

As a US Rep, she would have the backing to ask questions-pointed questions-as to why there are still reasons for Somali citizens to feel the need to leave their country. Possibly able to add to sanctions and embargoes, Never know until she does go back and ask those questions, will we?
