We gave them THEIR OWN MONEY that has been frozen by US banks since the Carter Administration. Their own money, not ours, and in return they ended their nuclear program, and we had inspectors to prove it.
Well, that is until Trump pulled out of the agreement - after we returned their own money to them. So now they have their money back, are free to restart their nuclear program, and the inspectors are gone. Can you please tell me why it was a good idea to pull out of the agreement? Iran already has what they want, and now we don't even have what we got in exchange. This was as major loss for the US and a major win for Iran. Trump is making Iran great again. We lost. We now have nothing. Iran has everything. Seems like Trump is doing everything he can to support our enemies and drive a wedge between us and our allies. Never have we had a weaker leader than Trump.
