First of all, I never realized that Donnie was friends with so many "negroes". Why no Tuskegee Airmen at any of his rallies?

Awarding the Medal of Freedom to an actual JOURNALIST would smack of state run media ... but to award this to a gas bag like Limbaugh? And WHY (HOW, even) did Rush appear so freakin' surprised? This had been all over the media since early yesterday morning!

Trump continues his obsession with Barak Obama - to be rivaled only by the media's obsession with Trump ... and then, to take credit for things that were done by Obama and previous administrations!

I didn't watch. There were worthwhile repeats of The Beverly Hillibillies to watch instead. I figured Jethro's IQ and character far exceeded the guy at the podium last night.

I used the word, "negroes" in quotes - as it is not part f my usual vocabulary. I'm not altogether sure if the word is currently a slur. It's a term that I hear a lot of Trump supporters (older ones) use. I intended humor. I just found it humorously ironic for Trump to include so many people of color (better?) in his Charade of the Union address. Peace!

Trump refuses to shake Pelosi's hand, and we're whining about the lack of respect she showed him? Respect is earned, not given, and when you disrepect everyone they're not going to respect you.

He didn't shake hands with Pence either.

It's still used by plenty of people. Here's a video where it is used in the title:

Part 1

Part 2

If you point out the obvious then they "might have to go through some things" we can't have that now can we?

Could care less about band shakes or paper tearing that was just a show for the Lemmings of both sides.(IMHO)
Interesting what Pelosi did stand and clap for, regime change feeds them all. If Trump brings out troops home, I'll be happy. We don't need to add to the problems that region has had for centuries. Our nation has its fair share domestically. We've given our government too much power and our citizens suffer cause both parties want that power..Barnum was correct, a sucker is born every minute

Stop the regime change wars bring our troops home and for the sake of our Republic...quit messing with the voting process and our Constitution.

The above-it-alls are always pushing for acceptance of Trump. We never saw them saying "lets all get along" when Obama was in office.

[Edited on 2/7/2020 by BrerRabbit]

Trump is as bad as every president since the second world war concluded. All those Administrations complicit in murder and torture of thousands and thousands of humans worlwide. Party affiliation in that regard is irrelevant.

Why do you always assume a varied view point is an attack on just one party? I am against what t government has become. Both parties are guilty and the embassies that keep electing the same thing over and over. Then wonder...why nothing ever changes? Same up!

I simply stated that the "all politicians are bad" stuff is generally brought up in reaction to criticism of the right wing.

[Edited on 2/7/2020 by BrerRabbit]

I was wrong (see how easy that is)

Although, your statement could be construed as a copout by those who refuse to admit their party is just as flawed as the other.

Republicans have been the party of racists since 1968......Nixon's so-called "Southern Strategy."
From Reagan's "welfare queen" to Willie Horton to the "new black panthers" to Trump's "Mexican rapists", Republicans always try to find a brown or black man to scare white suburban voters with.

I wish people of African ancestry would realize their color is brown, either dark brown or light brown. No one has black skin.

Latinos and Hispanics are NOT brown, they are white and tan skinned.

Why do we have so much confusion regarding African Americans and Africans. Just call them that. We do not call Native Americans the Reds, in earlier days we may have said Redskins, red skinned people. The Indians may have called us Paleface, but we have moved on since those days.

So let's just move on and call the blacks African Americans, solves the slurs.

Next election I may just stay home and not vote unless there is a candidate who embraces God's tenets. I used to think the Talibs were wrong not to vote, run candidates, we got to work for change from within as long as there is a government. Now, Congress is not even acting with honor. I remember them all except one or two voting for that un-Patriot Act, taking away civil liberties of everyone. I remember Abu Ghraib and Gitmo and the immoral acts of our military, we no longer live under a Constitution and we certainly do not serve God with some jerk head using a joystick of death in a room outside Vegas launching hell fire missiles at citizens of sovereign countries who never breached our borders or threatened our people.
