when we had the Allman Brothers Listserve, one rule in effect was if you don't like the poster, ignore him/her, or wait 24 hours before replying to their post.
Worked out pretty good since the moderators went over every post and would e-mail you back for reasons why they rejected your post.
Multiple times and you got taken out of the list. Since you had to post under your e-mail address, not a nickname or made up name, some tried to bully by e-mail. They found out that didn't work too well.
Roland tries to let us self-police here at HTW. There are several thousand posters who have left, or been made to leave.
I love your parodies and humorous posts, but man calm down a little. Don't get to be one of those who are made to leave.
Kick back with the Hendrix video, a little mood altering substance of your choice, and chill out a while.
Don't take anything anybody here says as a personal affront.
I agree, this place can get to be a shitho!e once in a while, but it goes in cycles. Lean back and laugh at the ones who go off the deep end for a while. Then when they get over it, join in a discussion with a little humor.
Remember, you and I saved this forum earlier last year. Nobody was posting, nothing to discuss.

I say just let everyone do what they want here. If anyone really gets out of line they'll be dealt with I assume somebody does that. Not much bothers me, ignore what you don't want to dignify with a response. There's going to be some good threads and posts, and some bad threads and posts. The threads worthy of discussion will rise to the top and the other ones...will result in fights and insults and people getting pissed off. That is what happens here. How do you bump threads up without posting in them anyway? Really, some of those threads are pretty stupid, so why drag them up?

When has a President effected your day to day living as far as getting up, eating breakfast, going out into the free world , making a living, go home , have a beer , eat dinner, kiss the wife and kids goodnight and go to bed? I cant think of any. It could be a lot worse folks.
