Jesus loves us all Grin

Are you now claiming to be part of "all the little children of the world"?

If I was in charge, our nation's citizens would sure get along a lot better. To better times down the road. Cheers!

Goober’s posts tend to be both topical and relevant.

The “some” find them contrary to their political ideology and because they are driven by hate they either ignore them, go off topic or attack them.

It has been that way for a long time and is not likely to change.

Oh well.
Jesus does love us all but sadly some do not listen.

I’ve always wanted to know how someone who claims to be devoted to the teachings of Jesus, would not only oppose affordable healthcare for all, but hate and condemn the person who proposes and implements the idea. You would think a true Christian would want to make it available to evryone in need.

Just because Jesus loves you doesn't mean He likes you.

Similar to the way that Evangelicals were so concerned with morality until 2016, and then that went the wayside.

These responses paint this picture of evil people denying the masses free healthcare.....Healthcare is expensive and truth be told, the majority have enough problems paying for their own well being much less being taxed further to pay for everyone else's...

You can always donate some of your paycheck to help out.

Great idea, and maybe the Evangelicals I alluded to, who are supposed to be charitable people & people of giving can do the same. Or have they only become a one issue lobby for anti choice judges and turn their backs to immorality and helping their fellow man?

I agree and this applies to everyone, not just "Evangelicals". Perhaps we can get this ball rolling with the advent of Taxation of Churches. If we are going to "Spread the wealth" I ask, "do Pastors and Priests really need to live in mansions and drive Bentleys"?

I agree 100% with taxing the churches and the businesses owned by them.

There are small churches all over the country who can not afford to be taxed. Yes there are those big churches and radio ministries who could afford pay some taxes, but you cannot have it both ways, so we should not tax churches because it would hurt the little ones who might actually be doing some good.

And as to Goob, he has as much rights as anybody else, he is entitled to his opinions, some of which people agree with sometimes, other times maybe not. Nobody is going to be 100% in agreement with anybody else ALL the time.

So you think the Catholic church is OK not paying taxes?!?!
The church I attend has 300 members (nondenominational Christian) and we pay taxes.
It's the Biblical thing to do. Therein lies the irony. (Hypocrisy?)
