As  big GB Packer fan I actually like the moves they made this offseason. Getting Rodgers back always puts them in the hunt for another ring.

It was tough to trade Adams but it was financially untenable to sign him and Rodgers without losing key FA's. They used the cap money saved by trading him to sign key FA's like LB Campbell, CB Douglas and DT Jarran Reed which should result in a top defense next season if everyone can stay healthy.

Bringing Tonyan back will help the offense and resigning MVS would take some of the pressure off but they still need to bring in a vet WR and draft a stud or two in the draft.  It is strong WR draft class again this year so they should be able to get a talented player at the 22nd pick who may be able to contribute immediately.

The draft picks they got from Oakland will allow them to load up on offense and draft some defense depth.

They obviously need to draft a couple of WR's and could use another edge rusher and OT to develop and replace Z Smith and Turner. A developmental safety would be good to grab as they have to decide if they want to pick up Savage's 5th year option after this year. Another DT to develop would also not hurt.

They now have 11 draft picks with 4 in the top 64 picks which give them the chance to replenish some depth and cheap talent and prepare for the cap crunch that will be coming due to all the restructured contracts that kicked the cap can down the road.

it has been a stressful offseason for us Packer fans but I think their GM Gute did an amazing job keeping talent while collecting draft capital. With their running backs and talented OL if they can sign a veteran WR or two, with something left in the tank, and draft a couple of talented WR I think their offense will be fine. Maybe trading Adams will force Rodgers to spread the ball around more next season.
