A little better week this week - good thing I was able to update my roster on my phone while I was away ..... 
I had Eric Jones in 3 out of the 4 leagues I play in. He was out of the race at lap 30, nothing like having no margin of error in a 400 lap race!
Gibbs cars kept blowing right fronts and hitting the wall. KY Busch being the only one that didn't.
I remember some radio communication after Truex hit the wall middle first stage I guess it was and him and Pern were talking about it and Martin said "it's too bad we had a race winning car". And they still won!

Pretty good weekend for me - won the college pick 'em, the NASCAR pool, one of the NFL pools and 2nd in the other pool..... plus the Cardinals swept 4 from the Cubbies in Wrigley in dramatic fashion ..... yep, pretty good weekend....

NASCAR definitely takes a back seat with football season around for me. Didn't watch last weekend and won't tomorrow either. Charlotte Roval is a cool race though. I need to set my drivers.

I normally place some NASCAR bets the final race. You can bet on drivers to finish in the top 3. I will probably take 4 drivers and if you get 3 out of 4 you can do pretty well. Taking 3 and winning 2 out of 3 works too. Have to think all the playoff drivers will finish very high, they always have.

You did. I like this. Once you start, you don't stop that is great. But next year you might want to set your sights a little higher than DanB!
I bet Hamlin. His car was starting to really come on late in the race, but they put that huge ass piece of tape on the nose and completely blocked the air intake for the radiator! Duh!
Rowdy seemed like the least likely of the 4 to win based on how he had been running.
I had Hamlin too ...... it's more fun trying to beat you in the football pools - I don't follow NASCAR, just trying to be a good sport and beat DanB and any other hillbillies at any pool........... 😛
