Think of the garage selection as a back-up.

NASCAR has 3 stages of each race. Before the end of the 2nd stage during the race you can swap any of your starting drivers with the garage driver. So if you have a guy wreck or blow an engine or just suck that day, you can put that starter in the garage and insert your backup driver. The guy who ends the race in the garage does not get counted as a used start and you don't get any race accumulate points for garage drivers. The 5 you have in your starting lineup at race's end is what will count for your points and usage. When the playoffs start in race #27, they tweak the use of the garage driver, but we can go over that later.

Have to add the racing last night and last weekend made figure skating look exciting. Single file racing is going to put the most addicted Nascar fan to sleep.

Truck race will be best race of the weekend.

Agree on last night, although I fell asleep during the second one. Single file high line racing sucks. My only hope is that when the whole field is on the track it will take longer for them to get single file.

I will delete a couple users from the league who don't play Sunday. I know of atleast two people who aren't going to do it this year. But with the addition of Sang and leafsfan it is a positive gain!

Hopefully that Infinity snoozefest isn't indicative of the kinds of racing we will see today.

It was nice to see the upper and lower lines could both take control of the race at a given time. All the crashes...the Menard crash, think he was bump drafting the 95, that was just too much push in the wrong spot. I chalk that up to the style of racing at the plate tracks and the unfortunate results that often happen. The last two wrecks were just stupid driving, Stenhouse putting his car where it wouldn't fit and Boyer made a great move to get around the 34, but wasn't cleared to come up and ruined his own race and those of others.

The ending of the race had potential, there just wasn't enough cars left at that point.

Oh, the fantasy league...we have 9 active players and just 3 who didn't play.

I guess Alanwoods is out this year.

If anyone hasn't noticed, there are essentially 5 of us playing in the league. Myself, my two friends in Charlotte Steve and Sandy (Mr and Mrs Howard Stern screen names), Sang and Leafsfan. DanB hasn't submitted a lineup since week 1 so soon he will be getting zeros as his week 1 driver allotment is used up. Not sure what happened to him.

But we do have a competitive group of 5. 1st place has 1962 season pts, but the rest of us are lumped in the 1800 pt range ready to make some passes if anyone in front has trouble.

Sang, it's time you set your sights higher than just beating Dan. Think big!

What I don't get in the pool is when you can change roster. You would think you could change it today when you look up your standings.

Also can you set roster for coming weeks ahead of time?

I enjoyed the race too. Man I feel bad for Larson, just such a rough year and that was some roll!

I hear you Mike. I had one other person (who sometimes remembers to do lineups) tell me they wish they could set their lineup weeks in advance since they always forget. Not sure why we can't do it atleast for next week now...just not how their program is set up.

Penske was still really strong at Dega and so was Kyle. I would like to see some other teams rise up. Maybe the week off and some momentum can put some wind in Hendrick's sails.

I can't get into Nascar any more. Haven't watched Bristol, Richmond or Talladega and these are my 3 favorite tracks. Glad to see Chase win.

Also don't like Nascar.com fantasy setup it sucks
