NASA renames planet in honor of president

Urfanus

LOL.
Again, thanks for not posting the visual.
😉

My brain mercifully can't conjure up a visual of Urfanus. Would have to double down on the acid for that - probably some poor hippy caught a flash in the bummer tent at Woodstock.
Just doing my bit to work this new word into common usage. Should be in Webster's by 2025.

I'm sure it will be, given some recent entries. Phonetically however, it raises similar issues to those of the name it replaces. Considering the two most common pronunciations of the stellar mass, i.e., "yer-aniss", "your-anus", one must reflect on how your admitted entry will be pronounced and generally accepted. As it will no doubt be renamed as a testimony (albeit a left handed one) to the current commander in chief, " your-fanus" should suffice.

Hahaha! Brought back a memory of our Jr. High science teacher unable to say Uranus without the class laughing. So he switched to the other pronunciation, "Urine-us", class kept laughing because now he was saying urine. Couldn't win. Junior High teachers should get paid double, kids can be flat out mean at that age.

Yeah...then they hit 14, 15, get a cell phone (if they haven't already) get meaner, sociopathic/withdrawn/drawn into the social media madness/addicted to video games/unable to verbally communicate or make eye contact, think entitlement is natural, etc., etc., etc., until they're roughly 40ish and then, hopefully, become free-thinking, adjusted, responsible human beings.
But I digress.

LOL, digress away - it can only be a step up from the thread topic.

Almost as funny as your prior visual, which by the way, for some extremely odd reason, I occasionally think of and laugh hysterically and often at the wrong time and place.
Thanks a lot.
