Mueller Report
Got my download early after the press conference, 448 pages of Volume I (of II).
So far have gotten into Cohen's' involvement of the Trump Tower Moscow project in 2014.
Anybody else reading it?

Put up a link Jerry. Nevermind Jerry, I found one for everybody else. Remember the Evelyn Woods speed reading program from back in the day? We could really use that for this one! Volume II starts at page 199.

I'm reading Trump's written answers to Mueller's questions.
Can't stomach the report yet. Mueller punted for no reason - he couldn't decide if the facts met the elements of obstruction. Facts are for juries to decide. He should've made a recommendation or handed the charge(s) to the court for a decision whether to prosecute.
Page 62 is quite revealing. Paragraph 4 the Clinton email server was probably breached by Chinese, Russian and Iranian intelligence services and they could re-assemble the server's email content.
Uh-huh. Now nothing on the Clintons server can be their fault, it was probably breached by China, Russia or Iran.
Page 64 - paragraph 2 Erik Prince hired a technical adviser who determined the authenticity of emails were NOT AUTHENTIC. BLACKWATER head determines the authenticity of emails, which could have had the content changed due to the breach by China, Russia and Iran.
[good precedent for anyone being accused of anything in their emails. They could have been hacked by China, Russia or Iran....]

I'm sure the below will be fine with those who are OK with the things Honest Don's press secretary says. Like her boss who always yells "fake news", what would you classify this? This from Fake Sarah.
The day after President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, then-deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders stood at the podium in the White House briefing room and told reporters that the president had had “countless conversations” with members of the FBI who said morale at the bureau was low and they had lost confidence in Comey.
He’s questioned Director Comey’s reason for needing to stay at the FBI,” Sanders said during the May 10, 2017, briefing. “He had countless conversations with members from within the FBI.”
But in her testimony to federal investigators probing whether Trump obstructed justice, Sanders admitted that she made it up.
According to special counsel Robert Mueller's report on the Trump campaign's contacts with Russia and the president’s interference in the investigation released Thursday, there was “no evidence” suggesting Trump had heard from FBI agents who had lost confidence in Comey before his firing, and “Sanders acknowledged to investigators that her comments were not founded on anything.”

Sarah Sanders making something up not founded on anything...wow, how shocking.
The report certainly dont look good but as it stands nobody was charged with conspiring with russia. Dems will be smart to move on. People can decide how much this matters next year.

But we realize that there are plenty of people that accept both Trump and Sanders' statements as facts. They even live on this site.

The ballot box will be the ultimate answer.

Generally I can read comprehensively at 2500 words a minute (yes, I was tested at that speed), but I have to really take my time on this one since each word can have a different impact according to who the interview was with.
Of course, it could be that I'm older now and feeling the lasting effects of Dr. Pounds' better living through chemistry.
I think part of the reason Mueller didn’t charge him is because the overly hypersensitive Trump base would cry, scream, yell, throw tantrums, and probably criminally rebel, if any charges were brought - acting like babies.
The Mueller report has not surprised me. Trump’s cocky behavior suggested to me that he knew they wouldn’t be charging him. Trump is a genius at tip toeing the line, and knew that it would take blatant evidence to bring charges...something he knew wasn’t out there.
As I’ve said for the past 2 years, the only thing his opposition can do is vote him out. Making Trump a one-term President might be worse for his ego than criminal charges. At this point, the playing field is level. If Democrat voters lose the 2020 election, they have nobody to blame but themselves.
I predict another Trump victory. I hope to God I’m wrong. But I won’t underestimate the sheer number of closet white supremists and insecure bullies who have fallen in love with his rhetoric. “We don’t have to be ashamed anymore with Mr. Trump in charge.” When Trump was campaigning in 2015, going after Obama and Mexicans, I didn’t think anyone in my circle could like such trash, but boy was I wrong.
Those who think women deserve it because they wore a low cut shirt will vote for him in 2020. Those who cheat on their wives will vote for Trump in 2020. Those who believe blacks are inferior will vote for Trump in 2020. Those who want a white Christian America will vote for Trump in 2020. Those who think gays are sick people will vote for Trump in 2020.
All I know is that Republicans have some really really really really really low standards for themselves. They just haven’t thought the repercussions through.

You really do have a fetish about denigrating Trump supporters, painting them with wide brush strokes from your deep well of fear and insecurities, not caring that most do not have any relation with the delusional hate speech you posted.
Either that, or you raided my medicine cabinet.

Trump's supporters' refusal to hold him accountable for any of the many untrue, despicable, and ignorant things he and his mouthpieces say through out the week can get a little frustrating. True, some supporters merely support the policy at whatever cost, but those who hero worship such a duplicitous man and refuse to even acknowledge his ignorance and depravity are right to have their conscience questioned.

I never said all Trump supporters are that way. But I'm not underestimating how many of those types exist in our country. Secondly, all Trump supporters do, however, fall into at least one of the categories I posted. The Trump supporters that aren't bigoted or a bully still have very very very very very very low standards for themselves. There's no arguing that - look at what they chose.

Then why didn't you preface your tirade with something like "I don't believe all Trump supporters are like this" instead of making an all inclusive, vindictive statement?

Do you now see the problem with having the President of the United States speak the way I've been speaking in this thread?

I have yet to see the president engage in hate speech as you present it.

I believe your language is English, but I can't choose to hear what is typed on a screen.
Bob Mueller will be on The Hill in front of the House Judiciary Committee within the next two weeks. This thing is far from over.
I'm not an attorney or expert and won't even bother with The University of Google, I have no idea the realm of criminality and those possibilities from reading the report.
However, from the kind of person the President is to the way he conducts himself, he's a horrific human being. For the remainder of my days, any conservative or Republican that uses phrases like "honor worthy of the office" and "sanctity of the Presidency" I'm going to laugh in their face and walk away.
Romney said it pretty well on the CLM - good thing no obstruction was found, could have sent the country into a constitutional crisis. Report showed a lot of monkeyshines with the Russians, which we already knew, still good to have it officially documented.
Looks like the Repubs might be growing some spine.
I dont think Trump is a racist as he welcomes anybody who will praise him. He has alot of supporters, certainly not all, who are due to their common hatred of President Obama.
Who knows what he, or rather it, is. Some kind of mirror. People must be getting some kind of rush from it the way it overrides. Maybe a Russian psy-op. Beyond me - just praying we get thru this without it kicking off a nuclear war.
Enjoy the bucket ride to hell - that is the last breath I'm gonna waste on that blackhole. Been sucking the light from our souls since the day it appeared.
What's that say about us? Any name you want to call him, insert here "That ___ beat Hilary". Answer: doesn't bode well for who and what we are, or are becoming.
I hate Hilary's political ideology and agenda but we need a statesman, a dignified representative of our country. She fits the bill more than this dude.
Then again, so does a German Shepherd.
I started a thread a while back re the Hilary Hate - the idea was to see exactly what it was we hated about her. Interesting experiment, page after page of we hate her, but not one post saying why - not even outlining even a general reason why. I think there were even some hostile reactions to being asked why we hate Hilary, like how dare you make me defend my hate of Hilary. Me personally all I really had against her was I was fed up with the ClintonBush stranglehold. And that rasping hag voice, awful. And truly scary to behold. Other than that she seemed rational and competent.
I will re-up it, it is a strange one.
She's certainly competent. It's not really her personally, i.e. looks, voice, etc. You might remember I recently posted my utter disdain for the u.s senators, reps and legislature here in RI, all Dems. I just lump her in with that disgust. I hate the liberal mindset. Nauseates me.
I get that.
I don't how I can survive here with my new pledge to avoid all discussion of _____. I really think that brand should be boycotted - it expands on attention, both positive and negative. It's so weird, I turn on my radio, without fail the Fanus is in every break. Never seen this my whole life. It is like living in a Philip K. Dick novel.

Take your pick - 1) They choose to ignore the why or 2) Really don't don't know enough of HC's policies & issues to articulate a real answer.
I do believe you're correct about the ClintonBush stranglehold, although from a policy and skill standpoint, I think HC would have been a much better choice than what is sitting in the WH now as far as both domestic and foreign policy.
