Manafort to serve 6.5 years in prison....total
Federal time gives 43 days good time for every year served. He got 7.5 years total between the 2 sentences. Thats 322.5 days good time.
Manafort charged with Real Estate Fraud in New York
And he'll miss prison days while he's being tried in Manhattan...

LMAO!
trump can't pardon him for state crimes.
Die in prison, scumbag!
I like people who weren't captured
Mocking the handicapped and our POWs doesn't bother me in the least, because he's not Hillary.
On a serious note, this Mueller investigation has to end ASAP....the staggering cost to fund this witch hunt will cripple the U.S. economy and bring the country to financial ruin. I mean, it has cost several MILLION dollars!!! No country can afford that.

Beyond this latest indictment for Manafort is the fact that in the past few days New York State might very well pass legislation in both the State Assembly and State Senate to circumvent the "Double Jeopardy" clause of the United States Constitution.
This legislation allows for the indictment and prosecution of crimes committed in New York if the same crimes were prosecuted at the federal level and the person was later pardoned by a sitting President. Governor Cuomo is expected to sign the legislation.
Given this very recent development, it could mean significant legal issues for Manafort even if Trump pardons him for his other crimes committed in his two other federal cases.....This may, pardon the pun, Trump Trump's pardon....If nothing else, Manafort is looking at some serious legal bills beyond what he's already spent...
Here's a link to the pending legislation:

Only problem with this is a pending SCOTUS case that could void the idea of state crimes also being tried for the same federal crime.
From what I've read though, what NY has charged him with is different than the federal crimes he's been convicted of.

Can adjournments or postponements count off some time?
