According to the Daily Beast, MAGA has created a book of "safe" places for them to go where they won't encounter a liberal. They really are cowards.

Hey maybe the Whipping Post got a bad rating, so they are all hangin out at warm cuddly sites like Stormfront now.

Something is definitely up - got too quiet too fast, and it wasn't just from bad liberals being mean and rude. I mark it right before the Coast Guard guy got busted - now the Green Book, they are diggin in, bunkering up for the Magacalypse.

The idea is to play the victim in order to justify victimizing. Yellow stars man, yellow stars.

If someone booed Obama in a restaurant there would have been nationwide outcries of racism or worse. Don't agree with many of the administrations policies; but public harassment/refusal of service in public places has occurred not infrequently and is offensice.

But he didn’t get booed in any restaurants because he was a kind and respectful person. Trump is hostile, immature, insecure, intentionally divisive, and courted racists and white supremists - he brought it on himself. There are no victims here.

Don't agree with many of the administrations policies; but public harassment/refusal of service in public places has occurred not infrequently and is offensive.

What a dilemma for the red hat wearers. Maybe they can simply choose not to wear it, or go to a different bar, much like a gay couple has to choose a different baker for their wedding.

Isn’t it just easier to be a kind, respectful, and inclusive person like Obama so as to avoid these dilemmas and issues? If someone chooses to carry around their axe to grind, they should expect to swing it. Or you can leave the axe at home.....we all make our own bed each morning - there are no victims in that story.

Maybe even worse - He was accused by the Grand Wizard Of The Birthers of not being born in America.

Barack and Michelle Obama were occasionally booed in public, they took it with grace, humor, and, dignity - there was no national outcry.

Always with the "Yeah but Obama this and that".

When he was FL Governor, Rick Scott released an attack ad against a woman who yelled at him in a Starbucks for signing away her Medicaid. Pretty thin-skinned move.

BUNKER MENTALITY , definition from Merriam Webster:

A state of mind especially among members of a group that is characterized by chauvinistic defensiveness and self-righteous intolerance of criticism

Pretty cool being called out for recognizing the same group that consistently put forth the effort to share their thoughts anytime a thread disparaging the President appears...

Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

Not calling you out at all, just acknowledging your regular role in our cast of characters.

He gets defensive when he’s embarrassed. He stated “nobody likes being ridiculed for their political beliefs”, but when he does it daily, it’s different. He joins the cast of characters daily, but its different when he does it.

Yes. Sanders in the primary, we flat out nuked Clinton here in Oregon. Am switching to Republican for 2020 so I can be part of the backlash against Trump in the primary.
Am reading "The Fifth Risk" by Michael Lewis now , man oh man it makes Bob Woodward's book look tame. The pattern I am seeing is way worse than I thought. This administration is not just inept, but actively ignorant and hostile to our government, firing the best and brightest and appointing incompetents. It is starting to look like a deliberate disruption, not simply a botch job. I don't think Trump has much to do with it, it is the rats on his ship.

What I would like to see is a modrrste Republican revolt. This is a perfect opportunity, the Dems are running a bunch of hotheads, and Trump is going to get us all killed.

I bet a moderate Republican with class would win in a landslide. None of the Democrats seem strong enough, although I haven’t really heard Kamala Harris yet.

Haven't heard her myself, yeah I agree, a moderate Republican with an interest in government who could string two coherent sentences together could blow Trump out of the water. I never thought I would see the day I would be missing Reagan and Bush, but I have learned my lesson.

I've never voted Democrat in any election but I'd vote for Biden. He'd at least bring some experience and a semblance of statesmanship back to the office. He'll have his fair share of gaffes but he'll carry himself better than what's going on now. Can't believe I have to say that but it is what it is.

btw "The Fifth Risk" is funny as hell, in a scary way. Very well written, reads like Tom Wolfe.

Either way, although I would not refer to my contributions as "regular" in that I treat the Trump Presidency with the same respect I showed President Obama while in office. I do however find it humorous that this same group criticizing President Trump are mostly the same players who didn't care for it in the least when President Obama's presidency was ridiculed at every turn.

Yeah piacere I get it. Biden is a limpdick, same deal though, we gotta stop this country swerving to the guardrails or we are gonna end up in some MEGA HISTORICAL EVENT, which is about due anyway, and maybe not a damn thing any of us can do about it except holler I love you Jesus when we fly off.

This happened in 2016 when Hillary was denied residency in the White House.

ok ok BigV, it is true you are quite civil and polite. Personally I would enjoy hearing what you really think. I am even missing Mukeman at least he kept the fire going around here.

How so? What catastrophe did you foresee? She struck me as a pretty mediocre business as usual bureaucrat, but at least capable, and intelligent.

And? Are you suggesting this is a good thing? Should Nixon and Reagan be treated with the same respect?

I do however find it humorous that this same group criticizing President Trump are mostly the same players who didn't care for it in the least when President Obama's presidency was ridiculed at every turn

Well, one administration has produced dozens of indictments and convictions, porn star affairs, etc, and the other wanted healthcare for all. Your premise that both people are similar is idiotic.

Nothing like lowering your behavior to that of those whose beliefs you disagree with.

So why do you do it with liberals? Brer, could you ask him this question so he might provide an answer to this elephant in the room?
