Lynch attempt? You mean the Smollett business? I could be wrong, haven't been studying this Smollet thing more than a quick surf, but as far as I know there hasn't been any trial yet. Any lying would have been done during police questioning - none of that is under oath, if you lie and the cops figure it out then you get screwed for it in court. That is why you shut up and get a lawyer.

Seriously, I have a hard time taking anybody seriously who claims Trump is some sort of innocent victim. Trump never had to put up with anything like that birth certificate BS Obama did. He never had to put up with people calling him a closet Muslim. The difference is that Obama took it like a man, handled it in a professional way, and ignored it instead of whining about it every day on Twitter.
Oh, and if there is any evidence that anybody lied in the Kavanaugh hearings under oath, then they should be prosecuted. Since they have not been, and since Trump's justice department has the power to do that, then I assume there is no evidence that they lied.
Oh, and the GOP lead senate wouldn't even hold hearings for Judge Garland, so all those victimhood claims are as fake as a Trump University degree.
