A recent poll has found that some voters are highly aggressive about foreign interventions- even against fictitious kingdoms from 1990s Disney movies.
Public Policy Polling, a polling firm known for combining serious, conventional political polling with silly, unconventional questions that often grab headlines, released some numbers Friday concerning the 2016 presidential race.
PPP’s poll found that Donald Trump continues to lead the GOP presidential race, with 34 percent nationally, followed by Ted Cruz (18), Marco Rubio (13), Jeb Bush (7) and Ben Carson (6.) Trump’s support has actually grown from the previous edition of the poll.
However, PPP’s poll also found something else: It asked voters if they support bombing Agrabah. 30 percent of Republican primary voters- and 19 percent of Democrats- answered yes, even though Agrabah does not exist, except as the site of the action in the 1992 Disney classic Aladdin.
According to the survey, 41 percent of supporters of Trump said yes to bombing Agrabah, while 9 percent said no.
“It’s a whole new world,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. “Republicans who support carpet bombing also support bombing magic carpets.”

I'm personally offended that so many Americans would support bombing a place for no other reason than it has a Middle Eastern name, and it scares me that they can vote.

In the last 2 prez. elections the GOP candidate lost by double digits to Obama by double digits for the women vote. If HC is the nominee, I would expect her to do even better with the women vote then Obama. On top of that, if Trump is the nominee, add a few more pct. points to the Dems. in the women column due to the Trump alienation factor.
In general & based upon recent voting trends in general election population / voting sectors, there is a difficult path to the White House for the GOP. Add in Trump's rhetoric and trash mouth politics, if he is the candidate, the probabilities of the GOP taking the WH become even more remote.
The GOP knows it has a problem with Trump. I'm not sure they can pull enough shenanigans to get rid of him and maintain the support of his low info & angry loyalists that swallow his garbage and inconceivable promises.

Yesterday, Fox News reported that President Obama’s daughter, Malia, had elected to attend Harvard University after taking a year off from school. It seemed an innocuous enough story, but readers of Fox News proved nothing is off-limits when attacking a black president, his wife, and his children.
Fox News was forced to close the comment section when their readers began displaying their horrific racism for all the world to see. Addicting Info, however, caught screenshots.
None of these people commenting seemed to consider that a black child, who fluently speaks a foreign language, may just be intelligent enough to qualify for admission to the prestigious university. Also, none of them note that white students who are considered part of a “legacy†because their family members attended Ivy League schools are more likely to be accepted than first-generation students, regardless of grades or test scores, and have been for years.
These racists commenting that Malia’s acceptance into Harvard has to be based on her race also fail to consider that her mother holds two Ivy League degrees from Harvard and Princeton. Perhaps Malia inherited those brains from her mother? No, these racists can’t accept that Michelle Obama is a brilliant and accomplished woman. They can’t even accept that she’s a woman!
Harvard is one university that does proportionately admit students of color. African Americans comprise 12.1% of the United States population and 11.6% of Harvard University admissions. Black applicants are not, therefore, admitted at a higher rate than white students. They’re simply admitted proportionately. That’s not “black privilege,†it’s called equality.
Insisting that any accomplishment made by a person of color, an immigrant, or a female must be based solely on their race or gender is, at its core, a racist and sexist assumption. White males are not inherently more capable or intelligent as a group. No one is “taking†their opportunities away, as those opportunities should never have belonged solely to white males.
Shutting down the comments on this story doesn’t erase the racism behind the comments. It still exists and has been fostered and encouraged by the likes of Fox News. Manufactured rage over the “race card†is part of their daily schedule. For just one small example of this, see the video below:
