Looks like another great sign. Those economists and money guy talking and writting expert opinions on internet finance predicting a recession in our near future should re-evaluate. Great for people who want a job or want to leave the one they have if they feel they are not getting paid what they are worth.

Yes. And it completely makes up for him being under Putin’s control, as he admitted in Helsinki to the world. Nothing to worry about there. I’m with you Goob.

What is fitsnews? With such wide reporting on key economic data, why would one have to link a source such as fitsnews?

This is good. Job growth has continued to be strong even while analysts and pundits insist it can't continue at this pace.

More than the monthly headline number, I like to pay more attention to the prior month revisions.

December '18 expectation was 190,000 and a blockbuster 312,000 was first reported. That has now been revised down to 222,000. Still beating the expectation.

And the one that got my attention most was the November revision because, remember, some people (including some here) were saying that job growth is finally slowing down and missing estimates, the economy was losing steam (recession - depression - crash is coming which some people have been saying since day 1 Trump took office). The initial report for November was just 155,000 vs an estimated 198,000. The first revision took that to 176,000 and this latest revision has bumped it up to 196,000, essentially in line with the expectation and the monthly averages.

Strong job markets naturally empower employees of all types rather than the employer and that is a good thing.

Good article, they presented the numbers, no CNN spin, even embed the actual report.

Own the numbers when they go down with as much verve and arrogance as when they go up.

That won’t happen.

I’m surprised Goober didn’t respond. I was looking forward to a good debate and watching him get his clock cleaned. Gotta love those post-and-bail members. We seem to have quite a few.
