Remember Loretta Lynch on that plane with Bill Clinton right before the decision was made on whether Hillary did anything wrong, and then Obama publicly saying that he was confident the FBI would find no wrong doing on Hillary's part. Comey's hands were already tied at that point. He could not go against his President. Now they just make sure he cannot do anything. Poliltical co-incidence?
well it is strange. Comey was stuck in a weird place and has been for quite awhile. if Obama had fired him last year, we would be asking the exact same questions.

Comey was a political tug-of-war rope. Damned if he did - damned if he didn't. Your opinion of him likely depended on how he responded to whomever was tightening the screws at any given time. He shoulda told 'em to take this job and shove it! 😉

So Attorney General Sessions, someone who mislead or lied during confirmation hearing of ties to Russia and who has recused himself from Russian Inquiries suggested Comey be fired. Last week Comey testified about ongoing investigation of Russian hacking and possible Trumpco ties to Russia during election process. Timing is everything.
There is plenty from both Dems & GOP to be upset with by Comey & his actions. But the timing of Sessions & Trump firing Comey seems quite questionable.
If there was ever the need for a special prosecutor, now is the time to investigate Russia + Trump & Friends.

It was time. His last non-sensical press conference rehash just shined too much attention on politics and not the rule of law. He wasnt hired to interpret the constitution but to get to the truth and the facts.

AG nominee Sessions answered all questions and truthfully.
It is hardly AG Sessions problem if the Democrats are too stupid to ask the right question.

I have received the attached letters from the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General of the United States recommending your dismissal as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I have accepted their recommendation and you are hereby terminated and removed from office, effective immediately.
While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau.
It is essential that we find new leadership that restores public trust and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission.
I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Further, when Comey did damage to Clinton on 2 occasions, Trump was Comey's biggest cheerleader. Comey testifies before Congress last week on Russia, and today he's let go. Heat on Trump getting a bit too hot for Donnie? Get rid of enemy, Comey?

The FBI Director reports to the Assistant Attorney General. and Comey's handing of the Clinton email scandal is the primary reason to fire him.
The Assistant Attorney General ha been praised by the Democrats almost daily since his confirmation.
Last October the Democrats were calling for FBI Director Comey to resign, calling for his head calling him a political hack and those are just the nicer things they were saying.
Today the same Democrats are saying “how could Trump do this to our FBI Director!”.
If it wasn’t for the double standard Democrats would have no standards at all.

and the FBI Director has been highly praised by Trump for over a year. so yes, i find it strange.
Everyone from the President on down has been a hypocrite on Comey over the last year.
However, "hypocrite" is the natural conclusion being drawn as things are run through the hyperpartisan filter. When everyone is constantly looking for the gotcha, there you go.
There's another side to it, though. Judging every action on its own individual merit.
Without an independent judiciary, it's all over.

There is not one single fact to support the Democrats fake conspiracy about some non-existent Russia/Trump connection.

So far the only crime is that Obama's senior liar Susan Rice leaked classified material to the Washington Post.
Remember the left-wing loon Adam Schit claiming that Representative Devin Nunes' was called to the White House to view documents?
Schit ran to the TV cameras daily claiming that Nunes had been shown secret Russia/Trump documents and was refusing to share that information with his committee.
Schit lied.
Schit was asked to come to the White House and was shown the same documents which turned out to be proof that Susan Rice had in fact demanded top secret documents about Trump which she leaked to WAPO.
Not surprisingly Adam Schit went missing from the TV cameras immediately after.
Top Democrats who just months ago called for FBI Director James Comey to be fired are now blasting President Trump for doing just that.
Last November Schumer sang a different tune.
“I do not have confidence in him any longer,” Schumer said of the FBI director.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told CNN last year that "Maybe [Comey's] not in the right job.”
“I think that we have to just get through this election and just see what the casualties are along the way,” she said.
Harry Reid last October “Comey should be fired”.
Now the Democrats are calling for what they fear the most, a Special Prosecutor. Apparently, the Democrats still cannot come to terms with the fact that The American People threw them out of power at every level of government and chose the Republicans to run the country.
I should ask again what the Democrats want but I tried that once before and not one member of the left could answer the question.
