@rowland

Wondering what happened here.

I had an image I saved off a government website to my computer then attached to the post.

I also had months and math of average per month for several years typed out.  I couldn't go back or find any saved draft.  We've all lost posts we spent time on, but this one seemed to deliberately block me.

Any reason?

@nebish don't get paranoid, I've gotten that here once or twice - I believe it has to do with a plugin bug on a browser - codes trying to work together.

The old site would sometimes log me out before I hit post, so I've been in the habit of copying my posts before I hit "reply".

Glad it got resolved, now (segueing) they’ll have to resolve that ungodly cluster**** in the Suez Canal

dredging, tugboats, high tides...they haven’t been able to budge this behemoth - 1,300 feet long, 164 feet wide, packed to the gills w/containers

no way would I wanna be in a tugboat around that thing, it’d be like tugging on Superman’s cape - what if it started tipping over.....

Crucial day tmrw - hi tide, & two more tugboats & other additional equipment will be on hand - excavators have removed a lot of the canal bottom where it’s stuck at the bow

leviathans like that one shouldn’t be allowed to use the single-lane passageways - those mega freighters look so top-heavy - the canal is only 80 feet deep in that area, rticl said - also mentioned an on-ship ‘blackout’ of some sort that might’ve been a factor in how it ended up side-to-side like that

any-way, the prospect of a prolonged blockage is making merchants & nations down there shuddder - the Suez is a crucial canal they count on for their economic health, & already, effects of its closure are being felt

they’re hoping/praying they can float it - if not, the next step, offloading the cargo, would bring that prolonging they were fearing b/c of how long it would take to get the equipment there, rticl said

w/luck & good weather they should have a pretty good shot at it (extraction) tmrw
