I got 68. made 80 grab bags and had 12 left. That's about 680 pieces of candy. Lots of fun watching the three year olds who just now understand "I go to the door and they give me CANDY!!!!" They run across the yard and usually fall down a couple of times.
Good thing I started killing the fire ant hills last month.

So, how many did you get?

I don’t get any out here in the sticks. I buy candy anyway and munch on it while watching old horror movies.

My wife always tells me to get the kinds she likes so if nobody comes she will just have to eat it.
I don't argue about it since I'm diabetic.

First year out here we got over a hundred, last year a lot less. I think the new thing going on out here "Trunk or Treat" is taking on a life of its' own.
Churches, some small strip malls, and now even some malls are doing it.

People line up their cars in a parking lot and the kids go from car to car rather than down streets.

That happens here (Providence) too. And city hall as well.
I live in the suburbs of Providence, nice neighborhood, dead end street. Not one kid came down the street. Not one. Unreal. I gave away three bags of kit Kat's at work today Grin

None. Same as most, trick or treating is mostly organized as Trunk or Treat or there is a nice parade by the businesses along the commercial avenue near me.

Not as much as we hoped. About 30 kids or so. We have a lot leftover, which I’m not complaining about.

I wasn't home till late and when I got there there was a group of about 100-200 people who had just passed by where I live. They had their own little caravan going apparently.

Hopefully, it's all the stuff you like, ya know, since you wouldn't want to be forced to eat stuff you don't like.

I hate this. We used to have hundreds of families touring our neighborhood. Tons of people out, having fun, meeting their neighbors. My teenage boys would come up with a costume theme every year and hang around and scare the older kids. All so much fun. This year we had less than dozen. They all go to trunk or treat. 🙁

Zero.

We live 6.5 miles outside of town.

My nearest neighbor is 100 yards away on one side, a quarter mile on the other.

Couldn't find a stream on Kodi for Mars Attacks so we watched Terminator.

Living within the city of Chicago, we have I guess a cross between trick or treating and trunk or treating. Most everyone in my neighborhood lives in high rises and condos. It's not like going door to door like when I was a kid. The Chamber of Commerce sponsors giving candy to kids from all the businesses in the downtown area. So kids still walk around but it is in a controlled environment so it is safe.

Funny story; so I am in one of the local watering holes when this guy comes in and asks if the bar was parcipitating in the event. We said yes. So he and some moms from a school bring in 11 3-year olds. Bartender gives each one a piece. So this one little girl is waiting for the other kids to get theirs.

She wanted more candy and we were almost out. So she punches this other little girl right in the mouth. The receiving girl didn't even flinch, cry, anything.

Funniest thing I have ever seen.

Pretty funny. Would've made a great commercial for whatever brand of candy it was.
