How Can This Be Happening?

First, Democrat support from women and Hispanics eroding. Now, middle-class workers too?

How can this be?

Pulling out the same old stand-by...
Leaning forward.

A lesson from Colorado?

A staunch union and democrat supporter on our Youngstown AM radio show says he voted for John Kasich in Ohio's Governor race. Most democrats say Kasich is "evil". Truth is he isn't all bad. Maybe some people are opening their eyes more rather than voting lock step.

I've always liked Kasich and am happy he was re-elected today, whipping the Democrat by an
amazing 32 point margin....In Ohio!

AS a voter in the State of Colorado I can say that Mark Udall totally took himself out of the race and once he earned the moniker of "Mark Uterus" by the Denver Post he was pretty much done. He ran on a one issue campaign and as far back as January he was seen by many as running unopposed however the Republican National Party took the reins from the State Party and put Cory Gardner in as the challenger. Udall and the Democrats were highly over confident and never thought that Gardner would be able to mount much of a challenge. Some other things not seen in the front stage of Colorado politics is that natural gas industry has flourished and many new jobs have become available so that even college students are leaving school to work the Fracking fields in order to pay for their college degrees. There were known out of State environmentalist groups and organizations that were paying people $14.00 an hour to protest and carry anti-fracking signs but most of the people that showed up for these staged protests were drifters in Colorado to purchase legal marijuana or just unsavory types that had no idea what they were talking about and the whole movement came off looking foolish. The Governors race was not going to be too impacting because Hickenlooper is pretty much a businessman and that has served him well as he never truly got in with the National Democrat movement or Obama politics.
