16 straight, 21-2 overall. Best start by a rookie head coach in history, Steve Kerr. Big one tomorrow night at Memphis. Andrew Bogut has been out with knee tendinitis.........if there was ever a game we needed him back for, this is certainly it...........Mark Gasol and Zach Randolph up front for Memphis. But don't count The Warriors out even if Bogut doesn't play............they've been finding a way to win, and they are very deep. And as Kerr says, "We have an incredibly strong competitive desire to win." Bogut is EASILY the best passer for a 7'0" center I have ever seen, I don't even think it's close. His ball skills are just amazing, and he's a huge force on defense. Now if he could stay healthy........

I didn't think it was possible, but Steph Curry has elevated his game even higher. I heard Charles Barkley recently list his three best players in the game right now: 1. LeBron James 2. Steph Curry 3. Anthony Davis. Of course, now that Kevin Durant is back, he may have something to say about that.

For some reason, being from L.A. and a long-time Lakers fan, I watched Lakers - Spurs Friday night, in San Antonio. And to my utter disbelief, the Lakers beat them, and no, Popovich did NOT rest the big three in that game. I'm not exactly expecting The Lakers to make the playoffs, but it's nice to see them turn it around a little bit. Nick Young was insane from 3 point range vs. The Spurs, he had 29. They do have a few other guys who can play, like Carlos Boozer and Jordan Hill. And yeah, that Kobe guy is still not bad either. They are still in desperate need of a good point guard, and no, I don't think Jeremy Lin is the answer.

I hardly watch much basketball anymore. IMO the season is too long; ticket prices are out of control. My boss is a big time basketball fan (he needs to be a scout for an NBA team). We figured if the Lakers win 20 games this season, it would be a success. They just might do it!

If anyone didn't know, that Warriors - Grizzlies game tonight is nationally televised on ESPN.
21-2 vs. 19-4, the two best records in the NBA.

I guess Steve Kerr took the right job, huh?!?!

Yeah they are playing well. It's a long season, the West is a tough conference.

Last year the Pacers started hot out of the gate, and slumped big time. Hopefully that wont happen to Golden State. It's hard to maintain that type of intensity for the whole season.

The Lakers had their three game bubble burst big time last night as Indiana beat them 110-91. The game was over at halftime: Pacers 60, Lakers 27.

That 2nd quarter did GS in. Vince carter? I had know idea he was still playing.
Gasol is way under appreciated. Memphis has a nice team. Curry was not that good last night 9 of 25 and 1 of 10 fron 3 pt land. He will bounce back and be fine. Give memphis credit for playing tough D on him. GS host OKC next I beleive.

Yes, Curry sure did have an off night, the first in a long while. And I agree, Memphis' defense had a lot to do with that. Road games three out of four nights didn't help either. Bad night for Draymond Green too, I think he was 2 for 12, and he's been on fire from 3. As badly as The Warriors played, I was very impressed with the way they came back and made a game of it. They got within 2 late in the second half. All streaks must come to an end. Yes, OKC tonight, we get them at our place. It'll be another good one. Memphis has one HELL of a ball club!

Impressive win last night for The Warriors after the end of the win streak Tuesday in Memphis.
In Oakland, Warriors 114 Thunder 109. I think Kenny Smith said it best on the TNT postgame: Durant and Westbrook are the best one-two punch in the game...........because that is just about ALL OKC has. The Warriors can hurt you in so many ways besides Thompson and Curry.........Harrison Barnes, Andre Igoudala, Draymond Green, Shaun Livingston, Mareese Speights. And that's with David Lee and Andrew Bogut sidelined with injuries.

Kevin Durant did not play in the second half last night after hurting his ankle in the second quarter. He had 30........IN THE FIRST HALF. Russell Westbrook had 33. Makes you wonder, if these two were healthy, and they had kept James Harden, if they would ever lose a game.

That said, if you didn't see the game (as mentioned, it was on TNT), want to see Steph Curry's stat line vs. OKC? 34 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals. That is a BIG, BIG time game ladies and gentleman. And as for Warriors depth: Thompson 19 points, Green 16 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, Livingston 12 points, Speights 10 points.
