Georgia Couple Sues the State

hey wanted the child to have the last name "Allah", the state would not do it. Naming anyone Allah is in effect giving them the name "God" which is why the state objected. Many people are named Jesus, but Jesus is actually the Greek form of the name Joshua and that is a first name. Without rules, the state argued, naming chaos would follow.
In an extended footnote, the state listed a horror show of baby names given in other states and countries: Acne Fountain, Legend Belch, Number 16 Bus Shelter “and the seemingly ever-popular Adolf Hitler.”
Even the Afghans and Arabs would not dare to name anyone Allah, there are other names that signify being a good scholar, or one who has excellent recitations, and the ever popular Mujahid as a last name signifying great warrior status, only in America do people try to name their child God. What were they thinking? And how does the ACLU think they can sue the state of Georgia because religious freedom and/or freedom of expression means they can name their child anything.
Maybe they just want to rattle the Supreme Court, and then blame the outcome on Trump.

there was a dude who played hoops for Providence College a few years ago, mid 90's maybe, his name was/is God Shammgod. Pretty good player, by the way.
I kind of like "Legend Belch". 😛

I don't know. Naming a child after a god ... kinda sets the bar pretty high for him/her. Polar opposite of naming a girl child, Destiny or a boy child, Jeeves.

I guess the question looms; if a female child is named after god and gets a lower back tattoo will she still star in pornographic movies?
