Probably most importantly, this would allow marijuana businesses to conduct themselves legitimately........like actually being able to deduct business expenses on their tax returns........imagine that..........

Long overdue....Maybe the one good thing Sessions will do is lead Congress to the realization that having a zealot like him as America's top cop requires that they actually, finally, LEGISLATE cannabis reform and end this war on American citizens.

We'll see, however, how far this federal effort gets as the lobbyists against reform haven't gone anywhere and their money still buys lots of votes in Congress. Bastards!!! Mad

Canada is introducing legislation today in Parliament that would legalize recreational use and sales by this time next year.
Fun fact - Originally the legislation was to be tabled next Thursday! However it was pointed out that it would be on April 20th (420). Ohhh change that date…….now!
It will be interesting to see what would be in the legislation. As far as how it will be sold, regulated, taxed etc

Heard a great deal today on the airwaves here in upstate, NY about the Canadian reform legislation. Given we're literally across the St. Lawrence River from Canada, there's much interest in this proposed legislation for many reasons.

From what I heard today, what has been proposed, at least initially, sounds like a very sane, practical, way toward reform. Stiff penalties for selling to minors, driving while stoned, flexibility within individual provinces to alter the rules, 4 plants per household, tax percentages, and keeping the prices low enough to keep the black market from cutting into legal sales....Go Cananda!
