wellll, i believe the initial speculation that it was caused by construction nearby if we are going to make wild guesses as to why it happened.

A 1.9 magnitude earthquake 4 days ago is not going to cause a tunnel collapse. You can't even feel an earthquake that small.

Hanford is a sh!thole. the tunnel is built out of concrete and wood. lol, could be moles burrowing into it and erosion. speculate away 😛

I just deleted a long response to Gina's posts. I finally decided why bother anymore. I'm only a geologist who studies this stuff. There is no way I can compete with crackpot Youtube videos and conspiracy websites, so I'm not even going to try anymore.
You're a geologist, what do you think about earthquakes that have no P-waves in them? They occur and have occurred because of man-made events. They do not happen all the time, but they do occur and there are people out there doing it for political reasons.
