I've been doing the same thing, browsing dead threads because the Whipping Post is toast. Only worthwhile thing I found was that Duane Allman quote.

re: HRC. I just finished a Warren Beatty biography. Annettee Benning c 2000 is quote as saying re HRC that she is always "doing what's politically expedient in the most transparent way....you feel like there's prevaricating, there's lying. You just don't trust them (the Clinton's.)"
