Madonna moved to Portugal after Trump was elected. That is the only one I know of that followed through.

I still see plenty NOBAMA and OBAMANATION bumperstickers from a decade ago. And still see LOCK HER UP stickers from 2016. Not one sticker ripping Trump. Looks like some serious chronic butt hurt.

That's why i generally take statements like that with a grain of salt.
Every interview I've seen madonna brings up soccer as the reason she moved to Portugal. Her son wants to play pro soccer and she says the move was to find trainers to bring him up to a caliber of playing to give him that chance.
In the Kelly and Ryan interview she claims she is not only "soccer mom" but a fat "soccer mom".
I early voted today. Past two ballots I voted issues only. I'm about done with everyone seeking office.
As a presenter on CBS Morning said today, "If you don't vote, then you voted. You voted for someone else to make your decisions, don't complain if they make a different decision than what you wanted"

If you're a Republican here in RI it's like shoveling sh!t against the tide. All three members of Congress (Democrats) will get reelected in a walk. So will the Democrat governor, Democrat mayor of Providence. I loathe them all. It's borderline psychotic how much I despise the sniveling, spineless blowhards. Geez, I hate them.

Anytime you live in a state that is overwelming one party or the other, sometimes it feels like your vote doesn't count, especially in a presidential year. Pisses me off that whether you are in blue California or red Oklahoma, your vote means nothing compared to a voter in Ohio or Florida. I understand the constitution was a compromise, but every vote should count the same.

...it's bad enough (for me and other Republicans) that our entire congressional delegation is liberal but it's how and why they stick to their agenda. They're spineless. Serious question - have you ever thought about moving to an area that fits your values and has more prosperity? I had this same problem, growing up in a very rural conservative town, so in my early years I got the heck outta dodge and moved to the big city. I know sometimes it’s not practical for everyone, but seeing how you loathe the state, I thought I’d ask.
