Dinner Guests
So, my previous posts replys got me thinking about all of you.
Lets say you are having people over, a mix of family (maybe cousins), and some friends. Of those,
how many can you say are actually Candidate Trump supporters?
In my own case, I would say 4 out of 6 would make it easily known that Crooked Hillary belongs in prison and President Obama is a failure.
The two supporters, one is living an alternator lifestyle (nothing wrong with this) and the other is someone employed by the government.
Nobody. I try to surround myself with people who understand multisyllabic words.
So one is a mechanic? LOL
I honestly don't know any Trump supporters or Hillary supporters, at least not that will admit it. I know people that hate Hillary and will vote for Trump, and I know people who hate Trump and will vote for Hillary. But I haven't run into anyone who is a true supporter of either candidate. But just to keep it interesting I'd invite The Goober to dinner so there would be a Trump supporter and I'd have the waiter give him the check.
So one is a mechanic? LOL

So goobs has basically Gomer, Ernest T Bass, Floyd, Briscoe Darling ,Hank Kimball, Eb Dawson and Fred Ziffel over to his house for dinner and it is just shocking that there is not a wide range of opinion?

Hmmm. Well, on my side, I have a very small extended family. I have a long and proud Democratic tradition on my Mom's side, my great-grandmother was the first female Democratic committeewoman in the state of Kansas. The house I grew up in was a polling place in the 20s and 30s. Of my immediate family, everyone is voting for Hillary, save for my brother-in-law. He bounces from job to job long enough to collect unemployment for long periods of time and is a master of food stamps. He's as hardcore right wing as they come. I guess the free stuff doesn't effect his vote, given the current sentiment on that topic.
On my wife's side are some deeply right wing folks. My father-in-law has been consumed by hatred of Democrats for his entire adult life, and even in his retirement he sits at his kitchen table and seethes. His Facebook page is a temple of memes of shared anger and hatred of anything remotely left, all day long, every day.
What that all means in connection to your question, I have absolutely no idea.
