Trump is not denying DACA, he is looking at it with all it's components. This is what he had to say today.

He has said if the Democrats don't want to look at all the problems of illegal immigration, including the border (and building the wall), then they really do not want to solve the problem. Chain migration where people illegally come here and then bring their relatives and become multi-generational illegals needs to stop.
Why should there be a visa lottery in the first place? Other countries do not do that.
Most Americans want immigration reform. People do not want to see families with their US born children separated, nobody wants to break up a family, but using pregnancy to run across the border just so the children will have citizenship and then ask for amnesty for the parents is a shoddy practice. If someone is more than 4 months pregnant, let them stay in their own nation until they have their baby there. Legislate it, refuse entry across the border. If they sneak in, fine, deliver the child, but do not grant automatic US citizenship.

ALL immigration shut down, legal and illegal. Illegals are being deported now in record numbers, which is great. That can continue. Give the immigrants, who have come already legally, time to assimulate to our culture.

"Assimulate"? I'm not sure if you're joking, because this is a pretty absurd thing to say, especially since legal immigration isn't really at issue.
The immigration process can take years and there are a number of ways it can be done. We are talking doctors, scientists, business people, students, etc. Some of them immigrate permanently, some on temporary work/student visas. They don't just show up at JFK and hope to get in. And these aren't the people who skip this process entirely who are at issue these days.
Also, there are the people processing all of this - are they out of a job?
Also also, if you've ever been to another country you would know there isn't much to "assimulate" to. Unless you are immigrating to Texas, of course.

Problem is Trump will never get DACA past his conservative buddies in Congress.... but nice try blaming everyone else...
Schumer and the Senate Democrats have again dropped their demand for amnesty for illegal aliens and passed a budget deal.
After they got burned with the last government shutdown the left is obviously hearing the call to support President Trump's comprehensive solution to the illegal immigration matter.
