The 76-page report comes after a months-long investigation by the attorney general’s office into allegations that nursing homes failed to follow Covid safety protocols.
The investigation found that the number of Covid deaths among nursing home residents in some facilities rose by more than 50% when including residents who died in the hospital.
“As the pandemic and our investigations continue, it is imperative that we understand why the residents of nursing homes in New York unnecessarily suffered at such an alarming rate,” James said in a statement. “While we cannot bring back the individuals we lost to this crisis, this report seeks to offer transparency that the public deserves and to spur increased action to protect our most vulnerable residents.”

Now an investigation finds he sexually harassed women at his office - he denies it
highly praised for his handling of covid in NY - & now this - scandal #2😮

Deny Deny Deny
Wish I started betting politics and faded his POTUS odds back at his peak.

Time for good ole Andy to resign.....I can’t imagine his legal bills for the next decade. And if he’s convicted of a felony he could ultimately lose his lucrative NYS pension given recent reforms, which ironically he signed into law some years back, allow for the removal permanently of NYS pension benefits for elected officials who are convicted of a felony....
The ultimate irony in this sex scandal is that while Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo led the effort to oust then Governor Eliot Spitzer for soliciting prostitutes...Of course Cuomo then ran for the office and won.....Karma is a bitch, Andrew!

So far he’s only been accused - the allegations might prove out as baseless in a court of law, but one way or another, right or wrong it will cost him A Lot of $$$$ - the claims against him are repugnant if true
