the chicken curse lives on! How about App St.? 😛

Loved it!

Chances Clemson covers 32 vs WF this week? Best O Clemson has seen all year. WF D is quite soft however.

should cover easily Wake hasn't seen a D like this all year

Sage Surratt done for the year for WF. Awful, he was having an outstanding season. Their #2/3 WR Washington is also out. Huge blow for the Deacs.

Just gotta put my .02 in here for whatever....
#1 - there are plenty of reasons UGA offense doesn't light up the scoreboard. With all due respect - predictable isn't one of them. Limited, perhaps. But predictable? No sir. rotating O-line due to injuries chief among a major reason. Several WR's injured and not able to develop. Predictable was Chaney (no offense UT friends) last year.
#2 - if your opinion about the Dawgs Offense has been formed by what you get from the so-called media/college football experts - you are completely un-informed. Remember, these are the same people that told us DRob's presence guarantees National Championship and Cager will make no difference - due to limited playing time.
#3 - present company excluded (mostly looking at rivals & 247 boards), there are a lot of stupid Georgia fans. Morons. Of an order so high, its actually spectacular the level of stupidity and could quite possibly be somewhere in the Guiness book (beer and records). Their arguments are baseless and, to a person - they need a girlfriend if the truth be told. The same type of fans that wanted Murray replaced by Hutson Mason - yeah yayhoos like those. The little twerps that are always there to say "I told you so". Look, we covered both Florida and UK. Who's taking OSU and the +52 vs. Rutgers?
#4 - Those guys have a QB who has lost 2 of his biggest SEC games - 1 to a team that UGA handled. was 42% with an avg of 5 yards per play and QBR of 80 against the two best defenses he's faced. And beat a ranked non-conference team who's defense isn't anywhere near the class UGA has - believe that.

#5 - Our guys have a QB that showed up against the 2 top 25 defenses he's played. He's a winner.

#6 - #7 on our team may be the one everyone is keying on as the one they're not going to let beat them. Gimme an opportunity to put the ball in #11's charge, I'll take that all day.

Georgia loses this game if they decide to give up the ball and commit stupid penalties. And, mostly the former because both teams are about even on penalties. But they will not lose this game because they are not focused as a laser and predictable on offense. They didn't even lose the only game they lost this year due to predictability. They lost it by being stupid. I doubt stupid is as stupid does will rear its head in this game.

Best of luck but the expectation for Georgia, gentlemen, is a win.

There were some REALLY good games yesterday.

Georgia/ Auburn: hoffcl, that was quite a finish. I thought UGA had that wrapped up.

Iowa / Minnesota: I was giving Minnesota 3.5 points. Minny scores that late TD so they are down four but once the guy guy kicks the PAT they are down three and I lose. Went into the kitchen, came back and I see he missed it so I won by a half point.

Baylor / Oklahoma: Baylor has to just be kicking themselves. I watched them implode the entire second half. I couldn't believe it. I took them to win straight up and thought I had it in the bag. That was bad for them.

Texas / Iowa State: Texas played well, came back, even took a brief lead. That game ending field goal hurt me.

And UMASS covered! Two of the worst teams in football.

😛

Fun TV watching day!

It was fun.

Although, I've never had a positive day that felt like a loss. Hit Syracuse and WVU MLs. Had Colorado State and Baylor MLs. I'm not ready to talk about how the Colorado St game ended yet. We all saw how Baylor ended. It was a day of what could've been, could've really crushed it. Instead a modest day in the black. I had never won 4 big dog MLs in a day, that would've been great.

Hafta work the Northworsten / Minnesota game tomorrow. Wondering how many Gopher fans will make the trip south to watch their team. Tough loss for them last week. They have to beat Wisconsin next week anyway so we shall see if they overlook the Wildcats. Although NW is so bad I don't think they can overlook them by THAT much. Gophers.

This week's schedule doesn't look too terribly exciting but there is always something.

I've been catching a handful of Wyoming games as it seems like they are on TV a lot as the only game on since they start late. I like them tonight against Colorado State, although I would have thought the spread would be higher than 6.5. Take the Cowboys.

The Baylor / Texas game I think will be the game of the week. I like Texas a lot. But Baylor really screwed themselves last week against Oklahoma. Still taking the Bears minus six.

Penn St / Ohio St. Boy, 18.5 points ?!?! To me this looks like a sucker bet. They are begging you to take the points. Call me a sucker. Penn St has to be able to cover this.

Finally, Nebraska / Maryland. Nebraska isn't that good but Maryland is so bad I am laying the five points and taking the Huskers.

These predictions are for entertainment purposes only. Your results may vary. Heh Heh...

The SEC doesn't have many good games this week (but does have aTm at UGA and Vols at Mizzou)...there are plenty of intriguing games around the country though. The PAC 12 has a lot of good games as does the Big 12 plus a real big one in the Big Ten. Some games that should be competitive in the ACC too. Games in the AAC, CUSA, MWC all have some impact on who wins their divisions. Lots to watch for. Sun Belt is the only other league that doesn't have many good games this week (plus the MAC who only plays one Saturday game due to MACtion being upon us).

This is the absolute peak of the season for me right now. If my obsession and over indulgence with this thing could get any deeper, it is happening right now as it always does. I'll be burning out next week I'm sure right on schedule.

Border War tonight, Bronze Boot!

Holy War (BC - ND)!

Crosstown rivalry - UCLA @ USC!

The 122nd Big Game!

Farewell at Sam Boyd Stadium!

How about some upsets this week? I'll go with Rice, UTEP, Duke, Arizona State, Oregon State

What about Texas A&M? Fromm under 50% completions last 2 games. Thought Ags would get somebody this year they shouldn't. If not Dawgs then could it be Tigers next week?

Line dropping, which I like. I am also looking towards the Pokes.

Had Colorado State last week in a brutal loss. Might be tough for them to bounce back from that one as well vs a quality D like Wyoming has. CSU passing game can be pretty good and Wyoming can be had through the air, but their D makes plays at the same time. I kinda think CSU will be forced into some mistakes. Thought their OL had turned a corner, then AF sacked the statue O'Brien 8x last week. Wyoming D is certainly capable of that.

Problem for Wyoming is their O. Down to 2nd string Vander Waal doesn't really do anything good. He isn't a runner like Chambers and isn't great passing either. So the WYO O is easier to defend now than it was 3 games ago. CSU D has made some strides since their nonconference game issues (remember the Toledo - CSU game? It was like each team had 5 successive 80 scoring runs).

Happy to see the line down to 4.5, wish it was lower. That might imply a lot of people or alot of money is on CSU and reason to worry, but line moves don't worry me unless it is inverse where the % of bets is one way and the line moves the other way.

I thought about hoping that CSU made a game of it for the 1st H and then wait to grab Wyoming at a discount in the 2nd H. CSU has not been good in 2nd Hs this year.

Liked Wyoming, really good D.

Huskers under Frost just don't win often on the road, but, I like them this week and then to get crushed by Iowa next week. Going to the Hawkeye game.

I'm avoiding Baylor this week, just don't see how they rebound from the emotion and/or collapse of the Oklahoma game.

Last chance to fade UMass this weekend. Grin

Go Ball State! Smile

I'm holding a Kent Over 4 regular season win bet, so today or next week at EM is all I got. Ball St on a 3 game losing streak and can Kent ride the momentum wave of the UB comeback?

Tulsa is probably my favorite game today. If it is close or they are trailing at half time I will add more.

Houston has started strong, perhaps unexpectedly strong, in the 1st H vs UCF and Memphis, but then fell off drastically in the 2nd Hs in both those, combining for just 6 points and 111 yards in both of those second halves combined.

Some very very impactful Seniors playing their final home game for Tulsa that made up Montgomery's first full recruiting class.

There are 16, here are the most important ones:

Manny Bunch S – 38 career games, 28 starts, 191 career tackles
Diamon Cannon LB – 41 career games, 26 starts, 149 career tackles
Cooper Edminston LB – 323 career tkls (14th alltime), played in all 47 career games, 34 starts
Trevis Gipson DE – 47 career games, 22 starts, 22 TFLs, 12 sacks career
Chris Ivy OL – 45 career games 21 starts (missed UCF)
Brandon Johnson S – 22 career games, 11 starts, 60 tackles this year
Keenen Johnson WR – 39 starts, 108 receptions for 1300 yards
Reggie Robinson CB – 29 career PBUs, 43 career games with 30 starts
Shemarr Robinson DT – 45 career games, 21 starts 88 career tackles
Cristian Williams S - 37 career games, 14 starts, 119 career tackles

They have already played really hard vs a really tough schedule, I can't see why this group of players doesn't play really hard again in this game.

Will definitely be on Oregon State and Arizona State MLs. Want Duke, but a little afraid where their O has gone. Think WF has peaked and fading at this point. Do I dare ML aTm?

Thinking of Boston College too!

Last 15 meetings (going back to 1998), Notre Dame has only won by more than 18 once, which was their last game in 2017. ND won 8 of those 15 by an average of 11 pts (BC has 7 wins in that span). The only times the spread has been this high in that span was 2011 -24.5 and 2012 -20. ND won by 2 and 15 those years.

It's a series that BC seems to get up for. Addazio is good off a bye too. I don't think many BC fans like him that much, but I don't know about that kind of fandom stuff.

2013-19 under Addazio dogged off bye week BC is 7-1 ATS with 3 upsets as small dogs. Of note they were dogged by 15, 17.5 and 23 pts within those 8 games and covered all 3, two of the 3 were very close games. BC only fav once off bye (lost straight up) so Addazio's all time BC record off bye week is 7-2 ATS.

And go Cal! (Sorry strat)

Very nice Lee! Looks like a 4-0. Kudos for you getting Baylor, I just thought they'd be super flat.

Had the Huskers, the Hokies and Ohio State under.

BYU up 49-0 at half, didn't cover.... 😮 I did grab the over there for a split. No idea who BYU was playing in the second half but gotta like UMass putting up 24.

Have Temple, Tennessee and LSU first half tonight. May add Utah and Oregon State.

Been a good day so far.

I went 5-0 during the day games. Only final I knew when I left Duke Stadium was that Minnesota covered.

It appears I am trying to give it back tonight. I picked the wrong team on the Oklahoma / TCU game by accident. Clicked the wrong thing. I like Boise State here in a little bit.

We shall see.

Thanks Neb. I was confident we could win as long as the QB didn't TO the ball (leads the conference in them) and Kelley could rush for 150 yards. That would keep the ball out of the sc's hands because I knew we couldn't stop their WRs. Didn't happen. Bruins were down 38-14 and came back strong but couldn't close to just one score down. That's football!

I'm sold on CCK. UCLA will be a good team next year.

The line on Boise as a favorite was sinking like the Titanic. And then they crushed Utah State. Good to be on the right side of that.

Sang is going to win the pick'em. With one to go the only question is who finished second.

Strat, bummer on that game. For me personally, I needed UCLA TD there at the end for a 2nd H play, the final drive with the backup was looking good til the 4th down stop at the 3. I can't believe he didn't get the first down on 3rd, you know? Who is that dude that drew cat whiskers on his face? Strange.

I had a rough day, but some really big 2nd H wagers saved me some (Nevada, UNC and San Jose). I really like playing favorites who trail at halftime, I call it favorites on sale, sometimes you can get a favorite who can actually lose the game SU but win the 2nd H bet if they can come back.

Anyway, season is over pretty much. Still League Title games, Army - Navy and bowl games, but for me it is pretty much over. Just kind of ride it down at this point.

Any interest in a bowl pick'em? Yahoo no longer offers one, we would have to jump over to ESPN which I think we have done before.
