Saw this today. There is going to be a rally for him sometime this month.

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

whatever good it does him.
i think its all blown out of proportion and the NFL owners are pussies.

I believe I read through a FB post that Eagles safety Malcom Jenkins called the NFL owners "A bunch of cowards" for not signing Colin Kaepernick. Interesting choice of words there since the Flag and the Anthem Mr. K chose to use as his podium, stand for the complete opposite of cowardice. Yes I understand the concept of free speech and the QB's "right" to protest in anyway he sees fit, but I wonder if he and his supporters understand theory of consequences. I can't help but wonder how many NFL players will kneel during the anthem now....My guess is not too many.

So a quiet protestor gets blacklisted, but wife-beaters and dog-murderers get second chances. Gotcha.

Kneeling during the anthem shows great disrespect to our country.
Kaepernick chose to display his racist "outrage" in his employer's house.
He gets what he deserves.

I don't agree with his method of protest but dont believe his livelihood should be taken away from him. It also makes the nfl look petty and intolerant.

I can understand it from a distractions point of view, great teams tend to avoid media magnets. But the Cleveland Browns really can't be so picky, can they?

Every employer has his quirks. Colin made his bed and now he gets to sleep in it.
It's your choice to watch the NFL or not. Pretty simple.

That's not the point, I'm not judging the owners or the league. I'm saying your idea of "consequences" is inconsistent.

Colin somewhere along the line lost his way in Football.....He was fine as long as he was succeeding under Harbaugh...When it got tough he didn't adapt, he didn't do enough homework and was at that time too busy working on his physique....
When it got tough he lost all his confidence and I believe he wanted to bring attention to himself again so he found another cause
His heart is in the right place...his approach sucks....When you go out and say Castro is a great man because he give his kids a free education he obviously didn't look at the whole picture of who and what Castro really represents....If he did he wouldn't have made that statement
He over simplifies an issue and much like DT he made a whole group of people the enemy in his eye...much like DT does to 75% of the US and the whole Muslim population...
Just like the extreme right wing wackos who think that the whole media industry gets up every day to blow smoke up their @$$....Colin believes the whole Justice system gets up everyday just to make life rough on citizens of the US...
All of this to me was just Colin raising his hand and saying,....HEY!!! look at me...remember when I kissed my biceps....I'm still here....Look at me!!!
Honestly....He had no interest in this subject when he was scoring TD's and kissing his Biceps....now that he doesn't get that attention this was the path

Do you believe there are consequences for your actions?

This is probably the most insightful thing anyone has said. Kaepernick obviously isn't the sharpest tool, and when his career started tanking after taking the league by storm, I got the feeling this was all a bit of self-sabotage. Now it all gives him an excuse for not getting signed, when I don't think many teams wanted to bother with him anyways.

His coach in SF has said repeatedly he was NOT a "distraction" at all.
nfl owners are a bunch of old racists.
Period.

Maybe I am missing something or ignorant, but how are they racists? Not sure I understand. If a team /owner already has three qb's ,they are going to be deemed racists because they are not going to can one of these qb's and bring him in just to make people feel like justice has been served. I don't get it...
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

There was an article in the local news !media here in Indy about bringing him in cause Lucks status is up in the air.
Here is a rebuttal from a local fan website.

welfareron is a far-left extremists and as such everyone he doesn't like must be called a racist in keeping with the liberal's identity politics and class warfare.
Sadly they still have not figured out that plan doesn't work.
The team owners will make the best business decision.
Keeping a QB who can no longer play the game and is a major distraction on a roster is foolish.
Notice that Spike Lee isn't putting Kaepernick on his payroll?

Just an aside, out of curiosity, what are you basing your appellation "welfare ron" upon? You either pulled it out of your Russian @ss, or you are a hacker who is spying on everyone here, right?

Your paranoia, while cute, is exposing you for the fool you continue to play.

Another pointless response defending your animosity.

You didn't answer the question, as usual.
Please explain, pedophile muledouche.

Good call, he's probably there right now. Or wishing he was, the seething ignoramus. Birds of a feather flock together.

Shame on them for having only 67.3% of NFL players being members of the black race. Damned racists.

Just occurred to me the other day what a completely racist term "reverse racism" is. As if any racism is different than any other. It implies that racism is a one-way street, and shows that the dominant race was so surprised that they could be the victims of racism they had to come up with a whole new term to handle the concept. Hey, hold on a sec, you can't be racist against us, that's our job, here, tell you what, you can be "reverse" racists. That way we can maintain our separation, so even our racism can stay divided into tidy racist definition.

Well Jerry, I feel very safe in saying that these owners are not employing these 67.3% African-American players out of any sense of equality or moral justice, they employ these players because they are counting on them to bring in fans and revenue for them, no other reason............Peace.........joe

Back to Kaeperinick.
His first couple years, I thought he was the next best QB, and the game would be changing because of him. It seems that the rest of the league figured out his game and style of play. I think if he could play at the same level he did as his first couple years, someone would pick him up. It's too bad. He was entertaining as an athletic, runiing QB.

Exactly. If you can't get the job done, or someone can get the same job done for less money, you don't get hired. It's all a business decision, not a moral or social decision. Has nothing to do with an owner being racist.

I agree with the " It seems that the rest of the league figured out his game and style of play."
He was hot out of the gate, but teams got wise. I can think of a few other QB's that had that problem and not much of a career because of it. That style and thought of play will only get you so far. You have to have more dimensions.
