A place to visit and get away from lockdown
At least for a little while.
Archive.org is a place where you can read books, watch cartoons and movies, listen and download free music, download classic games (and play them in your browser), old magazines, literature, tv shows, and old time radio.
Last night I was listening to the radio broadcasts from NBC in "real time" of the Normandy Invasion. I just couldn't sit through the entire 18 hours at one sitting.
Hook up your laptop to your smart tv (at least one with an HDMI connection) and watch the drive in collections, complete with concession stand commercials during the intermissions.
make like the fridge and microwave are your concession stand and get popcorn, fries, nachos, drinks, hamburgers,
hot dogs (don't forget the really crappy pickle relish), and ice cream.
Snuggle under a blanket, get cozy, and do like you used to do-forget the movie.
Another place to visit would be books.google.com
Do a search for what you want to read.
Note: doesn't work as a link. Highlight it and drag to the browser bar.
