Wow, I just saw that the TTB will headline a Wheels of Soul tour again this summer, and they will be at the Xfinity in Hartford CT on July 6th. Not a great venue but what can ya do.
The triple bill looks outstanding: Drive By Truckers and Marcus King will be the openers. I have seen both names praised widely on this site, though I have not listened to either one yet myself. I trust the judgment around here.

Hard to turn down a show at the old Canadagua Performing Arts Center, Ron....That's practically in your backyard, correct?
Nothing in the NYC area but I wonder if they will play at Jones Beach. I would prefer to see this show in an indoor venue and would settle for MSG instead of the local sheds. This is a terrific lineup.

based on past Wheels of Soul Tours and the graphic below i am guessing Wolf Trap in Vienna VA (just out side of DC). Also TTB has 4 shows in a few weeks in DC, and Wolf Trap typically releases its summer line-up at once; so there may be some contract reasons why its not on the lits.

If they play Bethel, I’m there. We saw them there a couple of years ago when they had NMA and Los Lobos. Excellent show and I really liked the venue and surrounding grounds. I thought it was just great and really dug the area as well.
If not I will try my best to make it to Saratoga.

night. I have never been to this particular shed - what do you not like about it?
