TTB Boston House of Blues - 12/12

Headed to the House of Blues in Boston for my first TTB show since 2011 and first Boston HOB show. My tix are Gen. Adm. on the main floor. Anyone have any tips on when to get there, secret spots to stand for sound/viewing/bathrooms/bar etc? Any insider knowledge would be appreciated.
Happened to check their site today for an update on the "surprise guest" and saw this:

Sound at HOB is very good to great. GA floor level will be PACKED.
Best sightlines are in the front, they often have a few vendors on the other side of the rail selling beer so you don't have to worry about getting to the bar unless you want the hard stuff.. Last time I was up there, though, couldn't hear the keys and stuff on the side too well, most of the sound was coming from the amps. The sound is better about 10 feet back or so to the back- sightlines depends on how tall you are.
We actually prefer upstairs reserved. It's a small enough venue that it isn't that far back, sound is great, and the crowds aren't an issue. There may be some GA behind the reserve seating.
It's gonna be a blast.

I'm in the upper level GA on Saturday night
have only been to moe at this HOB and that was almost 5 years ago, shortly after the venue opened.
have heard that security lines can be extremely long, but that's for some of the other jamband and electronic shows, not sure what kind of pat down TTB is going to trigger. If you get dinner at the restaurant there is a seperate and shorter line. haven't done this, but the venue confirms that to be the deal. they don't take reservations.

Look forward to finding out who it is. I just spoke with Andy Aledort, who didn't mention this. I really don't think it's dickey.

Heads up. This is a college town there might be a lot of talkers there, so be prepared. Sorry.

Thanks for the feedback. I was a bit too slow to get reserved seating, that would have been my preference. I'm getting too old for GA on the floor, but I'll deal with it too see a great show! We are looking for a place to eat, I'll have to see what kind of reviews the kitchen gets.
I've long ago resigned myself to dealing with talkers. Sadly, it is what it is...
Thanks everyone, enjoy the show if you are going!
