Could be no Fall Beacon shows this year. Though you would think TTB would announce that to possibly increase attendance at the MSG show.
I read the Garden shows are taking place instead of the Beacon or Orpheum. Few bands (and even fewer venues) want to double dip in the same market. I prefer the Beacon, but it's pretty cool for them.
That's what I would assume. Why do 6 shows in nyc and 3 in boston.If you can do 1 and make the same money. I live in mass but going to nyc show. Love the energy in nyc
Boston show last night was amazing. From where I sat (loge, near the stage) sound was very good. Derek was on fire as usual. I said this after the summer shows but as hard as it is to believe, his playing has gone up a notch. Susan also played (and sang) very well. I hear she has a good guitar instructor.
Warren came out for Dreams, Into the mystic, and Blue Sky. Speechless.
Then, for the encore they did I can't Make you love me (Bonnie Raitt cover), just Susan and Gabe. The band came our for Bound for Glory.
But - then Warren came out for a smokin hot version of Walk on Gilded Splinters.
they played well past the 11 PM curfew
If you are in the NY area and are on the fence about going Friday to MSG - do it!!!

Behind the stage was closed off.
Otherwise, about 90% sold I'm guessing. There were empty seats in the upper section starting about 1/2 way back and in the middle sections across from the stage.
