Spring Music Plans?

The wife and I are heading to Baltimore Thursday for a little vacation that includes Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" show.
I'm also going to see Dylan at the Lyric Opera House on Saturday.
Then...
TTB 4/16 at the Lockn' Bowl
John Mellencamp at DAR Constitution Hall in DC 4/26
Todd Rundgren at the Birchmere 5/14
Britt Floyd at the Carpenter in Richmond 5/27
What are your music plans?

We don't get out as much as we used to, but this month we'll be seeing Billy Joe Shaver, Bob Dylan, and Rev Peyton's Big Damn Band. After that...who knows?

Electric Hot Tuna-Carolina Theater-April 18th
Ryan Adams-Charlottesville Pavilion-May 5th
Jason Isbell-Pisgah Brewery, Black Mtn, NC June 6th
that's it for now...

Just saw the Punch Brothers and have tickets for:
Sebastian Maniscalco (Comedian)
AKUS
Joe Bonnamssa

It's been a fairly uneventful year so far here, but it's about to change:
McMurtry 4/10
The Who 4/23
Dylan 4/24 (yahoo BTW!)
Winwood 5/1
Fogerty 5/9
ZZ Top/ Jeff Beck (featuring Jimmy Hall y'all!) 5/10
I saw Mellencamp a few weeks ago. Good, though short, show. Opener Carlene Carter favors her mother June so much. Really enjoyed her short set featuring an old Carter Family tune. Be on time Liam!

I'll make sure I get there on time Brock!

Quiet start to the year here too, but enjoyed Robin Trower and Joanne Shaw Taylor last night in Newcastle UK. Next up,
Drivin' And Cryin' Newcastle Cluny 23/4/15
Blues Pills. Manchester Academy 24/4/15
UFO Newcastle Academy 25/4/15
.......busy weekend ahead

ARU x2
Jack Pearson
Todd Rundgren
TTB & Sharon Jones

Would love to see him, but he's not even grazing the southeast.
I am jealous.

Hey Ipowrie! I sure would like to hear about that Primus Chocolate Factory show. I missed it and really wanted to see how they executed the concept.

Sweet, he rocks it.

I am starting to get excited about the Sweetwater 420 Fest here in Atlanta in two weeks. Govt Mule and Primus in the same day is a pretty good day of music for my money. I am going to try and catch some of Anders Osborne as well on Saturday.
I will be seeing Rush on May 26th. I've seen them twice in the past few years and they still bring it. If you like Rush music, you can't not like a Rush show.
My wife and I are visiting one of her friends in Ohio this year, and we will probably catch some of the Nelsonville Music Festival at the end of May. Merle Haggard is one act on the bill that I would love to see. I've never seen Merle and he is obviously a living legend.
Definitely looking forward to multiple Phish and ARU shows in August!

Ouch...
Ouch, ouch, owie.
It's ironic that my favorite of the show of the summer will probably be Jack Pearson for $10-15.

I have quite a bit until the summer where I will be in Florida:
Jesse Malin/Steve Wynn and the Miracle 3
Jeff Beck
Lee Bain and Glory Fires
Sonics
Two Man Gallant
Shaky Knees Festival
The Who/Joan Jett
The Baseball Project
John Fogerty
No doubt there will others.
