I really like the extra disc of bonus tracks on the Deeeee luxe version of this album that came out a few years back. On the one hand, what they did was sacrilege; they took tracks from 1971 and dubbed modern Stones on top of it in the later 2000s. You can certainly tell some of the dubs, especially if you had some of the old outtake boots.

However, the songs still have that mojo. I get a real kick out of it all. Endlessly groovy.

Here is another. This was a famously bootlegged instrumental called Aladdin Story. When they did the Deluxe version a few years back, they added vocals, which was such a radical shift after hearing this as an instrumental for 30 years!!!
