Topic starter
Been a while since we've had a Civil War thread.
Just finished an interesting book titled "Sherman's March" by Richard Wheeler (only a $1 in the used section of the local library). It's based on personal accounts from General Sherman to civilians. It's easy to read and flows well. Turns out his campaign north from Savannah through North Carolina was longer and more challenging (weather and terrain) than his campaign from Atlanta to Savannah. Admire him or hate him (some still do 160+ years later), I recommend it. Cheers!

Put it on my For Later Shelf at my local county library.
Thanks for suggestion.
