Saw some memorable shows there - sorry to see it go!

Winterland in San Francisco, the venue Bill Graham went to when the scene got too big for the Fillmore, was razed and turned into condos. Saw Stevie Wonder open for the Stones there…the Dead dozens of times…Santana...

I was never lucky enough to see a show there but once when I went to the Letterman show we had to line up inside the Roseland to prove we were worthy of been in the audience.
