Lovely packaging, but at this point in life, I'm only really interested in re-packages that offer some additional music of note. Shame they didn't offer a disc of outtakes etc.

I think that Beggars, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile On Main St. is their best period!!

Sounds pretty deluxe! For me their best record. Gotta pass tho - I just last year completed my stash of the last remasters from early-mid 2000's. They all sound excellent. It is almost scary all the different releases over the years - I unearthed an ancient West German (which means Berlin Wall, so pre 1989) 'Hot Rocks' MFSL, one of MFSL first projects, CDs were still a new thing when it came out. SOUNDS UNREAL - 'Satisfaction' has the acoustic guitar way up front, and Mick's vox are right there - it is spooky, you can almost hear Brian Jones' skeleton fingers scratching on the speakers trying to get out. He's still alive, oh noooo! Never heard any Stones mix like it.

My favorite Stones record by far. But I don't need another version...........I have the SACD (Super Audio CD) version which was released in 2002. The sound is phenomenal.
